Given the tough competition in the mid-range market, Vivo’s offering looks a bit pale in comparison to the offerings from Realme and Redmi.

Vivo V19

Vivo V19 has a glass back with a huge rectangular quad-camera module. On the front, it has a punch-hole display with a dual camera. The design looks really sleek and premium. The bezels and chin are also very thin due to its hole-punch design.

Vivo V19 features Snapdragon 712 chipset which will definitely raise some eyebrows. It has an Octa-core CPU and it is based on a 10nm process. It has six Kryo 360 Silver cores clocked at 1.7GHz and two high-performance cores clocked at 2.3GHz.

Vivo V19 price in Nepal is NPR. 49,999. For the price, Vivo V19 is certainly an expensive phone given the competition. As I’ve already mentioned above, there are plenty of phones that provide better value for the money. Just go for phones like Samsung Galaxy A71, Oppo Reno 3, Redmi Note 8 Pro, Mi Note 10 Lite, and Realme X2.

Vivo S1 Pro

Vivo S1 Pro is the Pro version of the Vivo S1 as the name suggests. It has a different design than the Vivo S1 with a diamond-shaped camera module on the glass back. On the front, It has a 6.38 inches display with a waterdrop notch that houses a front camera.

Vivo S1 Pro uses Snapdragon 665 chipset along with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Snapdragon is a good chipset but it’s not worth the asking price of Vivo S1 Pro; Rs. 36790.

Vivo S1 Pro
Vivo S1 Pro

At this price, you can get Realme X2 with Snapdragon 730 or you can opt for better-performing phones like Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi Note 9 Pro, and Samsung M31 for cheaper prices.

In terms of the camera, it has a decent 48MP main sensor, 13MP telephoto sensor, 8MP Ultrawide sensor, a 2MP Macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. The main 48MP main sensor is Samsung’s ISOCELL GM1 sensor which is older version of the ISOCELL GM2 sensor used on the Samsung M30s and Redmi Note 9 Pro. If you go for Samsung M30s, you can get a Snapdragon 665 equivalent processor and the upgraded 48MP sensor for 26k. If you are willing to spend 36k, then go for the likes of Realme X2 which is a far better smartphone. The S1 Pro does have an impressive design but it’s too expensive given its hardware. So, I would not recommend the Vivo S1 Pro.
