The Realme 11 Pro is one of the three models in the Realme 11 series. Initially introduced in China in May 2023, the Realme 11 series, consisting of the standard Realme 11, Realme 11 Pro, and Realme 11 Pro+, made its global debut in June 2023.

Its predecessor Realme 10 Pro did not launch in Nepal last year. Only the Realme 10 and Realme 10 Pro+ were introduced to the Nepali market.

The Realme 11 Pro shares numerous similarities with its elder sibling, the Realme 11 Pro+, while making certain compromises. The differences are the lower-res main camera (100MP vs 200MP) and selfie (16MP vs 32MP) camera, lack of an ultrawide camera, and comparatively slower charging speed (67W vs 100W).

Realme 11 Pro Overview

Design

The Realme 11 Pro series has a vegan leather design on the back, designed in collaboration with Matteo Menotto, a former Gucci prints designer.

The faux leather back features a prominent circular camera module and a vertical line running through the center of the back. This line displays a 3D woven texture enclosed in transparent plastic, complemented by stitching.

The phone is available in three color options: sunrise beige, oasis green, and astral black. The astral black variant does not incorporate the leather-back design.

Both the front and back sides of the Realme 11 Pro feature a curved design that meets the glossy plastic frame.

Moreover, the bottom of the frame has a SIM tray, primary microphone, USB-C port, and a speaker. Likewise, the top houses the other microphone and speaker. The power and volume buttons are on the right side.

Unfortunately, the phone does not have any ingress protection rating for protection again dust and water.

Display

The phone sports a 6.7-inch Full HD+ curved AMOLED display, which supports a 120Hz refresh rate. This 10-bit panel is HDR10+ certified and is capable of showing over a billion colors.

Furthermore, it supports 2160Hz PWM dimming technology, which should reduce eye fatigue when using the device with low brightness settings. Realme also claims that the display covers 100% of the P3 color space and achieves a peak brightness of 950 nits.

Hardware

The Realme 11 Pro series is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset. Since MediaTek is rebranding its Dimensity lineup with the 6000 and 7000 series, the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 is actually rebranded version of the Dimensity 1080 chipset.

Built on a 6nm process technology, the Dimensity 7050 has two high-performance Arm Cortex-A78 cores clocked at up to 2.6GHz and six power-efficient Arm Cortex-A55 running at up to 2.0GHz. The graphics are handled by Arm Mali G68 MP4 GPU.

The processor is paired with 8/12GB RAM and 128/256GB storage. The smartphone has an in-display optical fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. Additionally, the dual speaker setup supports Dolby Atmos.

Camera

Realme 11 Pro has a dual camera setup, which consists of a 100MP primary camera with OIS and a 2MP macro shooter.

It is disappointing that Realme made the decision not to include an ultrawide angle camera in the Realme 11 Pro, particularly considering its “Pro” designation for a mid-range device. The ultrawide camera functionality is currently exclusive to the Pro+ (Pro Plus) model.

On the front, there is a centered punch hole housing a 16MP selfie camera. In terms of video capabilities, the rear camera can record up to 4K at 30fps, while the front-facing camera is limited to 1080p at 30fps.

Battery and OS

Fueling the phone is a 5000mAh battery. It supports 67W fast charging capable of charging up to 50% in 18 minutes, according to Realme.

In terms of software, the phone boots on Realme UI 4.0, which is based on Android 13.

Realme 11 Pro is the middle child of the Realme 11 series. It is almost identical to the Realme 11 Pro+.

The 11 Pro boasts a leather finish on the back, a curved 120Hz AMOLED display, an in-display fingerprint sensor, a 100MP camera, and supports fast charging at 67W.

However, it is unfortunate that the Realme 11 Pro lacks an ultrawide camera, a feature that the Pro+ variant offers. It also has no IP rating.
