The phone comes with Android 12 out of the box, with MIUI 14 on top. It has already received two major upgrades (currently Android 14) and may not receive any more. However, it should continue to receive security updates for a few more years.

Samsung has slapped a similar design structure to the S-series phones on the A24. The back panel is made out of plastic but looks like glass at first glance. The main camera is a 50MP f1.8 sensor and is not exceptional but it is good for the price. The dynamic range is wide and the exposure is balanced as well. Likewise, the photos have Samsung’s signature saturated color profile.
