Xiaomi Mi A3

Mi A3 is the latest addition to Xiaomi’s A series. The great thing about this phone is, it has a 6.01 inches Super AMOLED display and it rocks the 48MP camera that we can find on Redmi Note 7 and the Redmi Note 7 Pro. Besides, it also has an ultra-wide-angle camera which is missing on the Note 7 and Note 7 Pro.

Mi A3 is powered by a Snapdragon 665 chipset and it is available in 4/64GB and 6/128GB  storage variant. The phone packs in a 4030mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

Mi A3 is great for the price because it has an AMOLED display, a triple camera setup, stock android, and good performance. But it uses an HD panel. So, if you want a phone with a full HD display, triple camera setup, and similar performance then go for the Samsung M30s. But, if you want more performance and do not care about the wide-angle-camera then Redmi Note 7 Pro is a better choice.

Redmi Y3

Xiaomi Redmi Y3 has a 6.26 inches HD+ IPS LCD display. Inside, it is powered by Snapdragon 632 processor. This is not as powerful as a Snapdragon 660 but it is a decent mid-range processor that can handle normal apps like Facebook and Instagram well. You will see some frames drop while gaming. It won’t be as smooth as playing with a Snapdragon 660.

At the back, you have a dual-camera setup of a primary 12MP lens and a 2MP depth sensor. Xiaomi is touting AI capabilities which means the camera probably will detect some scenes and adjust the colors in post-processing accordingly. The main highlight of this phone is on the front. Xiaomi Redmi Y3 has a 32MP camera.

Going for the Redmi Y3 that has an HD display doesn’t seem too smart when you can get the Redmi Note 7 for the same price, does it?

Pocophone is a smartphone manufactured by the sub-brand Poco from Xiaomi. It has a Snapdragon 845 chipset from Qualcomm, 6GB RAM, a liquid cooling system inside, dual rear cameras, and stereo speakers for about NRs. 35000!! Yup. That’s what’s happening right now. Poco has officially blown every person’s mind with the F1.

pocophone f1 darazThe cameras aren’t the best. However, even though the cameras aren’t in the level of the Pixel 2, they shoot great pictures for the price. The selfie camera, at 20MP, might be better than some premium handsets. The phone has a plastic back, which is fine with us because this reduces the weight of the phone and keeps it’s cost down.

Poco F1 is still a good phone in Q4 2019. Yes, it’s build quality is not up to the mark. If you can live with that, go for it!

Xiaomi Redmi Go

Xiaomi Go is Xiaomi’s first Android Go phone. Android Go is a toned-down version of Android 8.1 Oreo tailor-made for low-powered phones like Redmi Go. Native Google apps like Maps and YouTube have a Go version that occupies significantly less space and use fewer resources to give you a better experience with your phone.

Redmi Go comes packing a Snapdragon 425 processor. This is a perfectly capable processor for normal tasks like calling and texting and can handle apps like Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube quite well. This processor is accompanied by 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. That’s not much but for the price, these specs are impressive and won’t be as much of a pain as other under 10K phones. What’s even more amazing in this price range is the support for 4G. That is something praiseworthy.

Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite is a powerful mid-range phone. At the front, it has got a 6.21 inch 1080p IPS LCD display. This is the same processor that resides inside the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star or the Xiaomi Mi A2. The Snapdragon 660 chipset is accompanied by 4GB of RAM. The internal storage is 64GB.

Mi 8 Lite is really not the phone to go for in 2019. Just go for the Note 7 Pro or even Vivo S1 at this price.

mi a2 liteAlso, you have a dual 12MP+5MP setup on the back and a 5MP sensor on the front. The battery has the capacity of 4000mAh which is significantly larger than the one found on the Xiaomi Mi A2 which means this phone may last more than the Mi A2.

The Redmi 6 has a horizontally stacked pair of dual rear cameras with a 12-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. On paper, these cameras look competent. On the front, the phone gets a 5-megapixel selfie camera with AI beautification capabilities. Talking about the battery, the Redmi 6 has a 3000 mAh battery. This phone, like the Redmi 6A, supports 4G VoLTE.

Though the Redmi 6 is a good deal in itself, I think customers will be much happy to buy the Redmi 7 instead of the Redmi 6 because it gives you better performance and better screen for a very small increase in price.
