Tecno Spark Go 2024 Overview

Design

The Tecno Spark Go 2024 has a full plastic build. The back has a squircle camera island that carries 2 camera and a flash, resembling an iPhone look.

The lock button of the phone also functions as the fingerprint scanner. In addition, you get a DTS dual stereo speaker setup. The phone is available in Mystery White, Alpenglow Gold, Magic Skin, and Gravity Black colors.

Display

The Tecno Spark Go 2024 features a 6.6-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with 720 x 1612 resolution, the same as its predecessor. The screen has a 20:9 ratio with a 90Hz screen refresh rate.

The front camera notch has been converted to a hole punch cutout, with software-based Dynamic Island-like feature.

Hardware

The Tecno Spark Go 2024 is powered by the entry-level octa-core chipset Unisoc T606. It is manufactured using a 12nm fabrication process and has two Cortex-A75 cores clocked at up to 1.6GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at up to 1.6GHz.

The phone comes with 64GB storage with 4GB RAM. Plus, you also get microSD card support for storage expansion up to 1TB. You may see Tecno advertising the Spark Go 2024 as having 8GB RAM, but it is using 4GB virtual memory on top of the actual 4GB RAM.

Camera

The Spark Go 2024 has a dual camera setup in the rear, featuring a 13MP main camera and a 0.8MP auxiliary lens. It is capable of capturing 1080p videos at 30fps.

Likewise, the selfie camera is upgraded to an 8MP front camera.

Battery and OS

The phone is fueled by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging. 

It comes with Android 13 (Go edition) out of the box with the HiOS 13 skin on top of it. Android 13 Go edition is a lighter version of the Android operating system, designed for ultra-budget smartphones with limited RAM and storage.
