OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G with Snapdragon 695 Launched in Nepal

The new phone from the Nord series, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite is finally here in Nepal. It was recently launched in India.

The Nord CE 3 Lite 5G is the successor of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G. And, it shares similarities with Realme 10 Pro and the outgoing CE 2 Lite 5G.

The CE 3 Lite 5G comes equipped with a Snapdragon 695 chipset, a 108MP camera, and a 5000mAh battery. Let’s take a closer look at its specifications and features.

OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G Overview

Design

OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite packs an identical design to the Nord CE 3. The panel is flat but the rear panel curves towards the edges. There’s a large dual-circular camera housing that holds a total of three cameras.

It comes in two colors: Pastel Lime and Chromatic Gray.

Along the sides, Nord CE 3 Lite has a power button on the right that doubles as a fingerprint sensor. On the left, there’s a hybrid sim slot but the usual alert slider is missing.

The bottom of the phone has a microphone, speaker, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB-C port. On the top, there’s a microphone and the earpiece acts as a speaker to give it a stereo setup.

Display

The display is a large 6.72-inch IPS LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is an FHD panel with a screen resolution of 2400×1800 pixels.

It has a hole punch in the middle of the display. OnePlus claims a typical brightness of 550 nits and a peak of 680 nits. Additionally, OnePlus claims Display P3 support on the Nord CE 3 Lite.

Hardware

OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite is powered by the Snapdragon 695 5G chipset. The same chipset is used on the Realme 10 Pro and last generation Nord CE 2 Lite.

It is a 6nm chipset with two Kryo 660 Gold cores clocked at 2.2GHz and six Kryo 660 Silver cores clocked at 1.8GHz. Likewise, it uses Adreno 619 GPU.

It is available with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128/256GB UFS 2.2 storage.

Camera

Interms of the cameras, it has a triple camera setup on the rear. It uses a 108MP main sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens.

On the front, it has a 16MP sensor for selfies.

The phone can shoot video up to 1080p at 30fps from both the rear and front cameras.

Battery and OS

OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G has a 5000mAh battery and 67W charging that can take the phone up to 80% in 30 min.

In terms of software, it runs on Android 13 topped with OxygenOS 13.1.

The price of the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G in Nepal is Rs. 41,999 for the 8/128GB variant and Rs. 45,999 for the 8/256GB variant. OnePlus is also offering one year of free breakage insurance with the purchase of the Nord CE 3 Lite.

The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G can be considered a rebranded Realme 8 Pro as it has identical specs and a similar design. However, it is also similar to the previous Nord CE 2 Lite 5G in some aspects, such as the processor.

In a market where AMOLED panels are typical at this price point, the Nord CE 3 Lite packs an underwhelming LCD panel and a Snapdragon 690 chipset.
