Unfortunately, the chunky mass still limits the full potential of the overall performance. The 370cc engine has to account for the extra weight to get things moving. Plus, the overall 192 kg weight presents a challenge in slow traffic, especially during tight corners and traffic stops.

You will notice the mass holding back the performance! Unfortunately, the touring accessories further increases the already increased weight.

Bajaj Dominar 400 rivals the KTM Duke 390.

Interestingly enough, the KTM Duke 390 Gen-2 was already lighter, sleeker, and faster. However, it takes things further in the newer KTM Duke 390 Gen-3, turning the tables in its favor.

The new and improved engine bumps up the performance, clearly outperforming the Dominar 400 by a long shot. Adding insult to injury, the Duke 390 becomes more enticing after factoring in the sheer volume of features that include Launch Controls, Riding Modes, Traction Controls, and more. However, the Bajaj Dominar 400 still holds its ground because of its price.

Although the KTM 390 Duke has far better hardware and performance, the Bajaj Dominar 400 offers a similar experience at a much more pocket-friendly price.

The Pulsar N250 is the newest 250cc naked sport in the bunch. Therefore, it includes a modern BS6-compliant FI Engine, all-LED setup, Assisted Slipper Clutch, USB Charging Port, and more. However, the Gixxer 250 does have a slight edge with its 6-speed Gearbox and Radial Tyres. Whereas, the FZ25 is the least appealing one in terms of styling, features, and performance.

Nevertheless, all three 250cc naked sports are excellent for their class. While the Bajaj Pulsar 250 would be my go-to choice, the other two Japanese offerings still hold a strong value.

Bajaj Pulsar NS 200

Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 is the best-selling 200cc Pulsar in Nepal.

It is powered by a 199.6cc, Single-Cylinder, 4-valve, Triple-spark, Liquid-cooled engine.The Fuel Injection engine generates a max power of 24.5PS at 9750rpm and a max torque of 18.6Nm at 6000rpm. Whereas, the Carburetor engine generates a max power of 23.5PS at 9500rpm and a max torque of 18.3Nm at 8000rpm.  

Interestingly, the Fuel Injection and Carburetor engine has a slight powertrain difference. Nevertheless, both engines are mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a 12-liter fuel tank.

Despite the higher asking price, the Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise is still a relatively a budget-friendly cruiser. However, the lack of modern features does hurt its overall appeal.

Because of the lack of cruisers in the Nepali market, the Bajaj Avenger 220 has a monopoly in the cruiser segment. Despite the monopoly, it continues to present a good offering, giving riders a stress-free riding experience, focusing on refined performance and ride quality.

However, it lacks the precision-cut handling and rev-happy nature offered in the Pulsar NS 160. The Pulsar N160 is a better package, but the Pulsar NS 160 is more engaging and iconic.
