TVS Apache RTR 160 2V gets the most significant update in a long time.

The new iteration features a more aggressive LED setup, SmartXonnect Bluetooth Connectivity feature, and updated graphics!

TVS Nepal has still opted for the older BS4-compliant Carburetor engine. However, it is a brand-new engine that has been refined and reworked.

TVS Apache RTR 160 2V Overview

Design

TVS Apache RTR 160 2V sports a race-themed styling. Interestingly, each visual component comes with a practical approach to assist performance.

The entire body is designed to maintain an intelligent aerodynamic. Components like bulky tank scoops help channel cool air to the engine.

Furthermore, it comes with a Beast-Inspired LED headlamp along with signature LED DRLs, which have become more aggressive in this iteration.

On the other side, the side indicators are the same halogen ones as before.

Along with that, Apache RTR 160 2V includes a new Digital Display with TVS SmartXonnect System.

It can now provide Turn-by-Turn Navigation, Race Telemetry, Call Alerts, Lean Angle Mode, and more.

The fit and finish have been refined through carbon fiber cues and a distinct white back-lit display.

The rear section gets a sculpted tail cowl. It is an imposing design, complete with Split Grab Rails and a new Triangular LED taillight.

Additionally, TVS Apache RTR 160 2V comes in five colors: White, Matte Blue, Black, Gloss Red, and Grey.

Performance

TVS Apache RTR 160 2V is powered by a 159.7cc, Single-Cylinder, 4-stroke, 2-valve, Air-cooled engine. It can generate a max power of 15.21 PS at 8000rpm and a max torque of 13.08Nm at 6750rpm.

Furthermore, it is mated to a 5-speed engine with a 16-liter fuel tank capacity.

Like before, TVS Nepal continues to introduce BS6-inspired avatars with BS4-compliant engines. It may have been done to keep the overall offering price as affordable as possible.

While the engine is still a BS4-compliant Carburetor engine, there is an interesting performance change in the new iteration.

Compared to the older BS4 Carb engine, the newer BS4 Carb engine produces 1.07PS more power than before with a 2-kilo reduction in the overall weight.

The suspension setup is handled by Telescopic Forks in the front and Monotube Inverted Gas-filled Shox (MIG) with Spring Aid in the rear.
