Infinix Note 7

Infinix Note 7 uses a plastic frame and a plastic back on the rear. It has a reflective glass-like finish on the back. On the rear, it has quad-camera whereas the fingerprint sensor is side-mounted. On the front, it has a hole-punch on the top-left.

Infinix Note 7 is using a 6.95-inch hole punch display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1640 pixels. It’s an IPS LCD display that boasts a 91.5% screen-to-body ratio.

Infinix Note 7 has MediaTek Helio G70 chipset. It’s a 12nm chipset with Octa-core (2×2.0 GHz Cortex-A75 & 6×1.7 GHz Cortex-A55) CPU and Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU. To top it off it has 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.

We’ve seen the MediaTek Helio G70 chipset on the phones like Realme C3. It can provide adequate performance even for gaming. And, given Note 7 has an HD+ screen, gaming performance should be good.

However, there are phones with the upgraded Helio G80 and G85 at a similar price from Redmi.

On the back, there’s a circular camera module that looks inspired by the Nokia 7.2. The camera module houses a 48MP main sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and an AI camera. Then, it has a quad-LED flash right below the camera sensors. The camera module is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.

On the front, it has a 16MP f/2.0, 26mm (wide) selfie camera for selfies. The phone can capture videos at 1080p 30fps from both rear and front cameras.

It runs on XOS 6.0 on top of Android 10. It has a dual speaker with DTS audio processing.

Infinix Note 7 looks cool design-wise, especially the circular camera module. It has a huge display but it’s not an FHD panel. The Helio G70 chipset is quite good but you can get better chipsets at a similar price with the likes of Redmi Note 9.

Then it has a 48MP sensor along with three other sensors but doesn’t have an ultrawide angle sensor.

All in all, its a decent phone but phones like Redmi Note 9 and Redmi 9 are far better.

The GPU is clocked at 600 MHz whereas the CPU is clocked at 2.0GHz. Helio A25 is a better chipset that has an octa-core CPU and has slightly better GPU.
