Infinix is one of the fastest-growing smartphone brands in emerging markets like Nepal, thanks to its aggressive launches and competitive pricing. Following the recent launch of the Note 60 series and Note Edge, the company is now gearing up to launch its latest mid-range gaming smartphone, the Infinix GT 50 Pro in Nepal.
As the successor to the Infinix GT 30 Pro, the Infinix GT 50 Pro introduces a functional liquid cooling system, a first for the Infinix lineup. But beyond that, what else does it bring to elevate the gaming experience?
What is the Price of Infinix GT 50 Pro in Nepal?
With prices rising across the smartphone market, it wouldn’t be surprising if the Infinix GT 50 Pro comes with a noticeable price hike over the GT 30 Pro. Still, Infinix has a history of pricing its phones aggressively, so hopefully, they continue the same strategy.
If that’s the case, the Infinix GT 50 Pro price in Nepal could start somewhere around Rs. 55,999 in Nepal.
Beyond the eye-catching liquid cooling system, the GT 50 Pro also looks to improve on its predecessor in design, battery, thermals, and overall performance. But are these upgrades meaningful? Let’s find out.

Infinix GT 50 Pro Overview
The Infinix GT 30 Pro went for a more subtle gaming aesthetic, but the GT 50 Pro clearly leans in the opposite direction with a much louder and more aggressive design. You can even see the liquid cooling concept visualized through 3D pipeline elements and color-matched accents, which honestly look quite cool and give the phone a more “mechanical” gaming feel.

At the back, there’s a dynamic RGB lighting setup that further amplifies the gaming vibe with customizable effects. The phone is available in three color options: Black Abyss, Red Blaze, and Silver Glacier.
Turn to the front, and the display will feel familiar if you’ve used the GT 30 Pro. The 144Hz AMOLED panel returns with the same brightness numbers: 1600 nits HBM and 4500 nits peak, along with Gorilla Glass 7i protection.
There are three small but notable changes. Resolution dips slightly to 1,208 x 2,644 pixels, honestly, not something you’ll even notice. More importantly, the minimum refresh rate drops from 60Hz to 30Hz, which is a small win in terms of battery life. The touch sampling rate also gets a bump from 240Hz to 330Hz, a nice upgrade for gamers.

Now, let’s talk about what really matters in a gaming phone: performance. The GT 50 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset. While this is not a huge upgrade, the phone does bring faster UFS 4.1 storage with 256GB and 512GB options, along with a larger 12GB LPDDR5X RAM as standard in the base variant.
The raw performance might not see a massive jump, but thermals are a different story. With the all-new HydroFlow Liquid Cooling Architecture, the GT 50 Pro introduces an active cooling system that circulates liquid from the core heat zone to cooler areas, covering a total area of 6,437mm². On top of that, it also features a 7,700mm² vapor chamber. Combined, this setup should significantly improve heat dissipation and thermal efficiency on the GT 50 Pro.
But wait, it gets even cooler. The GT 50 Pro also supports an optional accessory called the GT MagCharge Cooler 2.0, a magnetic cooler that attaches to the back via a MagSafe-style case, handling both wireless bypass charging and active cooling simultaneously. That’s a clever integration, to be honest!
With this cooling setup in place, the GT 50 Pro is also capable of sustaining up to 144FPS gaming in supported titles like Arena Breakout, Blood Strike, Call of Duty: Mobile, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Standoff 2, and Free Fire.
Like the GT 30 Pro, it also has a pressure-sense GT trigger that supports tap, press, and swipe controls. But it is now upgraded to support 8 different mapping points and 10 levels of adjustable pressure sensitivity.

The camera setup has been changed as the 108MP main sensor has now been swapped in favor of a 50MP sensor with OIS. I would take OIS over high megapixel count any day. The 8MP ultrawide-angle sensor and the 13MP selfie camera remain unchanged.
The battery gets a solid upgrade as well. Depending on the region, the GT 50 Pro packs either a 6150mAh or a 6500mAh battery, a noticeable step up from its predecessor. Charging speeds remain the same, with 45W wired and 30W wireless charging on board.
On the software side, the GT 50 Pro runs XOS 16 based on Android 16. To top it off, Infinix is promising a competitive five years of software support, a major plus for long-term buyers.

The Infinix GT 50 Pro feels like a safe but sensible upgrade over the GT 30 Pro. It may not bring massive improvements across the board, but the new Liquid Cooling Architecture is genuinely exciting and helps it stand out from the competition at its expected price range. Add in the smooth 144Hz display, capable performance, and large battery, and the overall package looks quite solid for gamers.
However, Infinix will need to be smart with its pricing strategy. With the Poco X8 Pro series already available starting at Rs. 63,999, the GT 50 Pro will need aggressive pricing to stay competitive in Nepal’s mid-range gaming market.
