CG Mobiles, the official distributor of Motorola phones in Nepal, seems to have a good read on what Nepali buyers actually want, especially in the budget category. Remember the Moto G05 and Moto G35? Both were incredibly well-balanced phones. Well, they are back at it again with one such option, the new Moto G57 Power.

For those unfamiliar, Motorola’s Power series is pretty much what it sounds like: phones built to last. Think bigger batteries, better endurance, and a focus on keeping you unplugged for as long as possible.
Alongside the G57 Power, Motorola also launched the Moto G06 Power, but today we will primarily focus on the G57 Power.
What is the Price of Motorola Moto G57 Power in Nepal?
The Moto G57 Power hit the global market back in early December 2025, and after sitting around for six months, it is finally here in Nepal this May 2026.
The Moto G57 Power price in Nepal sits at Rs. 37,499 for the sole 8/128GB variant. The phone is now available for purchase at authorized Motorola stores and mobile shops all over the country, both online and in-store.
Before jumping into the overview, let’s do a quick history check. When the Moto G05 came out with the Helio G81 at only Rs. 12,000, it was a total game-changer. The Moto G35 brought the cheapest ultrawide camera setup you could find at that price. In 2026, the G06 Power has the hands-down best battery life for any phone under Rs. 20,000.
My point is, the hopes are pretty high for the G57 Power.
The Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 40,000 price range has always been a mixed bag. Either the phones are impressively good, CMF Phone 2 Pro level of good, or they are downright disappointing. Let’s not name names on that second one.
So which category does the G57 Power belong to? Let’s find out.
Motorola Moto G57 Power Overview

Every Motorola phone looks the same, featuring that iconic vegan leather color shades, and the Moto G57 Power does not break that trend. It carries that classic Motorola look, and even with a plastic frame, the phone looks and feels surprisingly premium.
There is also that classic Motorola logo carved into the back, with a minimal camera bump housing what looks like four cameras. However, one is a flash and another doubles as an ambient light sensor and flicker detector, so there are only two actual working cameras.
The phone is also fairly thick at 8.6mm, likely due to the chunky 7,000mAh battery, hence the POWER name. To charge it, there is 30W turbo charging, which is a bit underwhelming for a battery this size. But at least it will comfortably last more than a day on a single charge.

To the front, you are greeted with a generous 6.72-inch LCD panel. The FHD+ resolution is a great fit for the size, resulting in a sharp 392PPI. Add a 120Hz refresh rate, and the visuals should be crisp, clear, and smooth. The Dolby Atmos Hi-Res Audio stereo speakers also enhance the viewing experience a touch.
For protection, the display is covered by Gorilla Glass 7i, which is becoming increasingly common in the budget segment. And the whole phone is tougher thanks to MIL-STD-810H military-grade protection—so it can handle the odd bump or drop. The device is only rated IP64 for dust and splash resistance, which honestly could have been better.

Now, where the G57 Power fumbles a bit is in performance. But before you skip this phone entirely, hear me out.
The Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 paired with 8/128GB of memory is actually pretty decent, especially when you compare it to 2026 launches at this price like the Honor X8d and the base Redmi Note 15, both of which offer only 4G SoCs. So the G57 Power coming in with a 5G chip is a welcome surprise.

But if you are comparing it against 2025 bangers like the Infinix GT 30 and CMF Phone 2 Pro, both running versions of the MediaTek Dimensity 8350, which are miles ahead of the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4, those phones still win on performance. Since both are still available on popular online stores, they take this round— for now.

Moving on to the camera, the G57 Power runs the same 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor found on popular phones like the Nord CE 5 and Nord 6. That is pretty impressive for this price. Paired with it is an 8MP ultrawide shooter. On the front, there is an 8MP selfie camera capable of recording up to 2K footage at 30FPS, and the main camera can also record 2K at 30FPS.
Lastly, on the software front, the G57 Power ships with Android 16 out of the box and is set to receive 2 major software updates.

So what’s the G57 Power really about—which category does it fit into?
Honestly, it depends on what you are comparing it against. Stack it up against 2025 hits like the Infinix GT 30 and CMF Phone 2 Pro, and the G57 Power falls short. Both offer significantly faster chipsets and better overall value.
But compare it against 2026 releases like the Honor X8d and others, and the G57 Power suddenly looks a lot more compelling. A 5G chip, a Sony LYT-600 camera, and a 7,000mAh battery at a similar price is hard to beat.
