The Honor number series — from the Honor 90 and 200 to the 400 — has always stood out with unique designs and offered pretty well-balanced smartphones. And now for 2026, the most accessible model in the 600 lineup, the Honor 600 Lite, has made its way to Nepal.

The 600 Lite is coming in solo this year, unlike last year, when Honor launched all three phones in the series — the 400 Lite, 400, and 400 Pro above the world’s highest peak, Mount Everest, during a special mountain flight from Kathmandu.
Sadly, it looks like there is no such grand spectacle planned for this year’s launch. However, the other members of the series might tag along later on. Hopefully.
What is the Price of Honor 600 Lite in Nepal?
Last year, Nepal got the 12/256GB variant of the Honor 400 Lite for Rs. 39,999. But this year, the phone has seen a massive price hike due to the rise in global RAM prices. On top of that, the dollar is at its strongest, which also affects import costs.
That said, the Honor 600 Lite price in Nepal is Rs. 59,999 for the 8/256GB variant. That is a Rs. 20,000 jump compared to last year, which is still massive despite Honor’s attempt to soften the blow by opting for a lower-memory variant just like with the Honor X9d and X8d.
The Honor 600 Lite was made official on April 26, 2026, and is currently up for pre-booking. As part of the offer, customers can get the HONOR Watch 2 Pro, worth Rs. 15,999, for FREE.
It’s a limited-time deal, although the brand hasn’t specified how long it will last. So you might want to act quickly!
At first glance, the Honor 600 series looks like the direct follow-up to last year’s Honor 400 lineup. But the story is a bit more complicated. Honor actually released a 500 series in between, though it stayed exclusive to China, which is why it barely registers for the rest of the world.

So in Nepal’s context, the 600 Lite is the direct successor to the 400 Lite, and on paper, the upgrades look pretty impressive. Let’s see how it actually holds up.
Honor 600 Lite Overview
Straight from the design, you can see that Honor has given the Lite variant a major makeover, especially with that aluminium frame, similar to what you find on the iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Despite the obvious inspiration, it’s a notable upgrade over the previous plastic frame. So, kudos to Honor for that. However, the back is still plastic.
On a side note, the ingress rating has also been bumped up to IP66 from IP65.

The camera setup follows the same triangular arrangement on a square module, and yes, the iPhone resemblance continues. But unlike Apple’s triple camera, the 600 Lite only runs a dual camera setup, with the third cutout being just a flash.
And speaking of iPhone inspiration, Honor has also included a Camera Control button, and yes, they have even named it Camera Control. Come on, Honor. At least try to make it seem like you did not just copy the homework.

Moving to the display, the bezels have seen a massive improvement, coming in at just 1.23mm. That instantly gives the phone a much more premium look and feel.
The display is also slightly smaller than last year’s at 6.6 inches, 0.1 inch to be precise. It’s also touch shorter and narrower than the Honor 400 Lite. But thanks to those slimmer bezels, the screen covers about 90.1% of the front.
It is an AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1.5K resolution — a step up from FHD+, which means the 600 Lite’s display actually surpasses phones like the Galaxy S26 in that department. Brightness has also been upgraded, now reaching 2,000 nits in HBM mode and peaking at an impressive 6,500 nits.
For protection, the display is covered by Aluminosilicate glass. It is not Gorilla Glass, but it is a chemically strengthened glass that offers decent scratch and impact resistance — similar in concept, just from a different manufacturer.
On the performance front, Honor has upgraded from the Dimensity 7025 Ultra to the newer Dimensity 7100 Elite chipset. It is a relatively fresh chip that made its Nepal debut with the Infinix Note Edge and also powers the recently launched Tecno Pova Curve 2. The D7100 Elite is paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. There are other trims available worldwide, but we are only getting this sole variant in Nepal.

The battery also gets a meaningful upgrade. The Honor 600 Lite now houses a 6,520mAh cell, roughly a 20% increase over its predecessor. And to charge the chunky battery, the charging speed is also bumped from 35W to 45W.
The camera, however, is where things remain the same. It runs the same 108MP main shooter paired with a 5MP ultrawide — and the 5MP ultrawide is honestly bare minimum. A simple bump to 8MP or 12MP would have made a lot more sense. The front also retains the same 16MP selfie camera.

Lastly, the phone ships with MagicOS 10 built on Android 16. In a good move, Honor is continuing its 6-year OS and security update promise on the 600 Lite, matching what they offered on the 400 Lite last year

The Honor 600 Lite, with its aluminium build, thinner bezels, brighter display, and bigger battery, is shaping up to be one of the more exciting mid-range phones coming to Nepal this year. Honor has clearly put in the work this time, and the 600 Lite comes with meaningful upgrades over the 400 Lite.
However, I don’t think the phone has enough chops to stand out from the competition, and one major reason is the Dimensity 7100 chipset. Firstly, it’s the same processor that the Infinix Note Edge rocks, which retails for just Rs. 41,999. Even if we try to level the playing field by looking at the 8/256GB variant, Note Edge is still Rs. 12,000 cheaper than the 600 Lite.
Likewise, the Rs. 60,000 price segment is stacked with heavy hitters like the Nothing Phone (4a) and Redmi Note 15 Pro+, which not only have their own unique flair but also pack a more powerful silicon.
So it seems the aluminium armor Honor 600 Lite isn’t enough to shield it from the intense competition. The freebie Honor is offering might bring it some traction, but after the offer period is over, it will mostly remain a mediocre option in the segment, just like the Honor 400 Lite.
