About a month after quietly launching the Honor 600 Lite, Celltron Nepal Pvt. Ltd. has introduced the two higher-end variants of the Honor 600 5G series. This time, the phones were launched at a grand event at Club Nova on 28 May 2026, which also marked the fourth year of Honor in Nepal.

The 600 Pro sits at the top of the 600 series lineup, which includes the 600 Lite, 600, and 600 Pro. It offers the most in terms of raw specs and performance in the family, and naturally comes with the highest price tag of the three. With all that, the expectations are pretty high for this one.
What is the Price of Honor 600 Pro in Nepal?
Among all the premium lineups launched last year, like the Nothing Phone (3), OnePlus 13R, Galaxy S25, the Honor 400 Pro was the most appealing. With a price tag under Rs. 90,000, it offered absolute bang for the buck.
But with the price hikes we saw this year, we were bracing ourselves for Honor 600 Pro to climb the pricing ladder. What we weren’t quite ready for was such an aggressive climb.
With an increase of nearly 50% (~46.93% to be precise), the Honor 600 Pro price in Nepal is now Rs. 1,29,999 for the 12/256GB variant. While the price jump has been steep, Honor is sweetening the deal — in a true Honor fashion, with some very exciting offers.
With the purchase of Honor 600 Pro 5G, you can get an Honor Choice Watch 2 Pro worth Rs. 15,999 and an Honor Choice Clip earbuds worth Rs. 10,999 for FREE! That’s Rs. 27,000 worth of accessories at no extra cost. But as is the case with offers, it will only be for a limited time!
The phone also comes with Efix Nepal protection, which will likely cover front and back replacement in case of breakage. The brand is still discussing the exact scope of coverage.
Lastly, one lucky pre-booker of the Honor 600 Pro 5G will take home Honor’s newly announced MagicBook X16 laptop, which retails for Rs. 1,19,999. This pre-booking runs until the end of May.
Last year, the Honor 400 Pro took me by surprise with how well-balanced it was — decent cameras, a solid processor, a capable display, and competitive pricing. It even held its own against the likes of Galaxy S25.

And naturally, I was pretty excited for the 600 Pro as well. So let’s see what it has in store.
Honor 600 Pro Overview
Honor has never really shied away from taking some “inspiration” from Apple. Previously, it was features like the Camera Control or some UI choices. But now with the 600 series, the entire design screams Apple right away, with that aluminum unibody with iconic camera plateau that houses a triple camera setup. Even the flashlight and color temperature sensor placement mirrors the latest iPhones.
With all that, the 600 Pro could easily be mistaken for an iPhone now more than ever.
Personally, I preferred the previous curved design with that unique camera module on the Honor 400 series. It was unique and definitely did not feel like an iPhone copy.

But what the 600 Pro does better than the iPhone is protection. It is IP68, IP69, and IP69K rated against water and dust, and even carries a 5-star SGS rating against drops.
Beyond the design, the 600 Pro comes in a more compact form factor. It is slightly shorter and thinner than the 400 Pro. Honor also claims the corners are symmetrical with a large radius for the best-in-class viewing experience. Not entirely sure how that works, but okay.
Speaking of viewing experience, the display has actually shrunk to 6.57 inches from 6.8 inches on the 400 Pro, which is even smaller than the 600 Lite. However, the viewing experience could actually be better thanks to Honor’s claimed 0.98mm bezels, which they say are the narrowest on the market right now.

That is quite impressive. And combined with the smaller screen size, the screen-to-body ratio has jumped to 91.2% on the 600 Pro from 89.5% on the 400 Pro. That < 2% bump might not sound like much, but even Galaxy S26 Ultra’s bezels measure around 1.15 to 1.2mm and look almost non-existent. So, it is a notable feat.
The Honor 600 Pro comes with an AMOLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, which is pretty much the standard for phones these days. Brightness sees a major upgrade, though. This HDR-certified screen can peak at 8,000 nits for HDR content and dip as low as 1 nit in dark environments, making it genuinely easy on the eyes.
The only complaint I have about the display front is that it is missing an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. And seeing cheaper phones like the Vivo V70 offer one, I would say it’s a huge missed opportunity.

Under the hood, the Honor 600 Pro runs on the last-gen flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Not surprisingly, it follows the same trend as last year, where the 400 Pro ran the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. It is not the latest 8 Elite Gen 5, but it is more than capable of handling heavy multitasking with ease.
Now, the phone’s configuration is where I take issue. It pairs 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, which is fine as is. But something like POCO F8 Pro, which matches the 600 Pro very closely in terms of specs, is available at a much lower price. On top of that, POCO gives you double the storage! Honor really should have offered the 12/512GB variant, which is available globally.
Shifting to the camera, the setup is identical to last year’s Honor 400 Pro: a 200MP main sensor, 50MP telephoto, and 12MP ultrawide. While the megapixel numbers remain the same, the telephoto now zooms up to 3.5x, up from 3x last year.
On the front, there is a 50MP selfie shooter, and the 2MP depth sensor from last year has been dropped. This gives the phone a cleaner hole-punch cutout instead of the pill-shaped one.

We all know how desperately Honor tries to look like the iPhone, so I find it surprising that they ditched the old cutout, which looked Dynamic Island-esque.

The battery also gets a meaningful upgrade, jumping from 6,000mAh on the 400 Pro to 7,000mAh on the 600 Pro. Numbers like 8,500mAh on the POCO X8 Pro Max may have raised our expectations, but anything more than 6,000mAh should easily last more than a day, even with heavy usage.
However, the charging has actually taken a step back. Wired charging has been nerfed from 100W down to 80W, while wireless remains the same at 50W. On the bright side, the 600 Pro can reverse charge other devices at 27W, which is practically fast charging.
Out of the box, the phone runs Android 16 with MagicOS 10.0 on top. And Honor is continuing its promise of 6 years of major Android and security updates, the same as last year.
Lastly, Honor has added a bunch of AI shenanigans. You get AI-powered photography tools like scene recognition, improved night processing, and smarter portrait enhancements that automatically adjust lighting and details. There are also handy tools like object removal on still pictures and video, and image enhancement.
But the image-to-video feature is what Honor is really proud of. They spent a great deal of time at the launch event highlighting this feature, where they converted photos of attending industry peers and celebrities into a video of them bursting into a dance.
It’s a cool feature and all, but at the end of the day, I found it rather goofy. Honestly, all these AI features feel a bit gimmicky, and I find it hard to believe an average user will find these features handy. But hey, that’s just what I think.

The Honor 600 Pro keeps the same winning formula as last year’s Honor 400 Pro: a semi-flagship SoC, a solid battery, and a capable camera setup. All good things in my books. But pricing is what matters just as much, maybe even more.
And that nearly 50% price jump, while cutting the storage by half, does not paint a good picture. Honor is giving away freebies worth Rs. 27,000, sure. But is that what the Nepali consumers really want? Honor proudly announced that they are now the Top 3 brand in Nepal, so maybe it is indeed what the Nepali consumers really want.
