Honor 600 Goes Official in Nepal with Exciting Offers: Better Than The Pro?

HIGHLIGHTS

  • The Honor 600 price in Nepal starts at Rs. 84,999 (8/256GB).
  • The smartphone runs on a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC.
  • It is powered by a massive 7,000mAh Si/C battery.

The Pro variants of Honor’s numbered series, like the Honor 200 Pro and 400 Pro, always stole the spotlight with banger specs. Meanwhile, the standard Honor 200 and 400 felt more like middle children, overlooked and ignored. Well, with the launch of Honor 600 in Nepal, we could finally be seeing the trend being broken.

And I am not just hyping it up. The upgrades on the 600 look genuinely impressive and fall much closer to the Pro model than any previous generation. But will that make this phone a better pick in the market? Without further delay, let’s dive in.

Usually, Honor keeps their Pro and non-Pro numbered models pretty separate with different designs, specs, and target buyers. This year, though, with the Honor 600 series, that’s changed—they look virtually the same and even share specs.

So could the non-Pro, that middle child everyone ignores, finally be a better value than the Pro? Let’s find out.

Honor 600 Overview

When I said the design looks identical to the Pro variant, it is the same body down to the dimensions. Both phones share the same aluminium frame. This was not much of an upgrade for the 600 Pro since its predecessor already ran a metal and glass body. But the Honor 400 ran a full plastic body, so the jump to metal is a much-needed improvement.

Since both the 600 and 600 Pro are built on the same body, the 600 also carries the IP68/69/69K rating along with a 5-star SGS drop protection, an impressive upgrade over the Honor 400’s IP65/66. The color variants are also the same, featuring Golden White, Orange, and Black.

The only design difference is in the camera plateau. The 600 runs a dual camera cutout as opposed to the Pro’s triple setup. But just like the 600 Pro, the Honor 600 still looks a lot like an iPhone copy, and that is hard to ignore.

Honor also claims the corners have a large radius and are symmetrical. Honestly, not sure how that improves anything, but okay.

They have also confirmed the narrowest bezels claim with just 0.98mm thin bezels, which gives the phone a more premium look.

Honor 600 Display

The display sits at 6.57 inches, a touch bigger than the 6.55 inches on the Honor 400. It still runs the same 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 3,840Hz PWM dimming rate, which is gentler on the eyes during extended use. So there is not much change in the display department overall.

The only major display upgrade is brightness. The HDR-certified screen peaks at 8,000 nits for HDR content and dips as low as 1 nit in dark environments, making it genuinely easy on the eyes.

To power it all, the Honor 600 runs the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC. It is a 2025 chip that is still very relevant in 2026, and recent phones like the Vivo V70, OPPO Reno15, and Nothing Phone (4a) Pro all run on it. So, the performance should be in a similar range.

The memory configuration is where things get interesting. Ever since the Honor 90, Nepal has received the 512GB storage option. However, this time we only get to choose between 8GB or 12GB RAM paired with 256GB storage.

Honor’s antics of bringing lower-memory variants to soften price hikes are well-established at this point. Just look at the X9d and the Honor 600 Lite. With this, the rest of the Honor 600 series also joins the same club.

Honor 600 Camera

Shifting to the camera, the main setup is identical to last year’s Honor 400, a 200MP main sensor with OIS and a 12MP ultrawide. On the front, there is a 50MP selfie shooter. Leaving out a telephoto lens is a letdown, especially when competitors like the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro and Vivo V70 offer proper zoom capabilities.

The battery gets a massive upgrade, jumping from 6,000mAh to 7,000mAh, the same jump as we saw on the 600 Pro. Charging remains at 80W, which is decent enough for a battery this size. Plus, the Honor 600 can also reverse-charge other devices at 27W.

Out of the box, it runs Android 16 with MagicOS 10.0 on top, and Honor is continuing its promise of 6 years of major Android and security updates, the same as last year.

Lastly, Honor has loaded the 600 with a bunch of AI features, scene recognition, improved night processing, smarter portrait enhancements, image-to-video, object removal on both photos and videos, and image enhancement tools.

Honestly, it is a long list. But like most AI camera features across smartphones these days, these feel more like a marketing checkbox than something the average user will actually reach for on a daily basis.

PRICE LISTING: Honor Mobile Price in Nepal (June 2026 Updated)

The Honor 600 is shaping up to be one of the more interesting smartphones of 2026, and for the first time, the non-Pro Honor number series phone actually feels worth talking about. It is closer to the Pro model than ever before, and that alone changes the conversation around it completely.

The competition in Nepal’s semi-premium range segment in 2026 is brutal. At around Rs. 90,000, you are going up against some fan favorites.

We have phones like the Samsung Galaxy A57, which has been an absolute rock in its segment for many, many years, with its brand value and customer trust.

Then there is the new kid on the block, the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro, with its quirky design and clean software. We also have phones like the Vivo V70 and OPPO Reno15 in the same segment, whose camera chops seriously need to be studied.

Xiaomi 17T is also competing in the same segment, which takes the most balanced approach. Then there is the POCO X8 Pro, which blows out all the competition in terms of performance and battery capacity.

Competition is fierce, and honestly, the Honor 600 5G doesn’t have much going for it to set it apart. That’s where Celltron Nepal comes through with a solid move and an attractive offer.

For a tech reviewer like myself, that offer does not mean much, as I would much prefer 512GB storage instead. But for an average Nepali buyer who does not understand smartphone specs, a smartwatch worth Rs. 16,000 for free is sure to be much more enticing.
