Aprilia Scooters Price in Nepal: Features and Specs

Aprilia Scooters are built for those looking for performance scooters in Nepal!

Aprilia is an international brand with Italian heritage. Belonging to Piaggio, both Aprilia and Vespa bring their Italian persona to the streets of Nepal. Interestingly, Aprilia continues to stand among the crowd of the competition despite making its entry into a market dominated by TVS, Honda, Suzuki, and Yamaha.

Currently, Aprilia Nepal sells over four different SR models in two different engine configurations. While these models differ in pricing, each Aprilia SR offers a dedicated take a mix of aggressive design, power-packed performance, and excellent build quality.

Comparing among the Aprilia SR models, Aprilia Storm is the most affordable Aprilia scooter in Nepal. On the other hand, Aprilia SR 150 Race is the most expensive Aprilia scooter in Nepal.

With that said, if you are looking to buy a Aprilia scooter then let’s look at the Aprilia scooter price in Nepal along with its key specifications.

Aprilia Storm 125

Let’s talk about the Aprilia Storm 125 in Nepal.

Aprilia Storm 125 is powered by a 125cc single-cylinder 4-stroke, 3-valve air-cooled engine. It can produce a max power of 9.46 BHP at 8500 rpm and 9.9 Nm at 6250 rpm. Moreover, it uses CVT transmission with more race-theme performance.

The performance and base design in Aprilia Storm 125 is the same as in Aprilia SR 125.

However, both scooters differ in terms of color scheme and a few other things. Don’t worry we’ll get to that in a bit.

Aprilia Storm 125 Highlights

  • 3-Valve Engine
  • Two Matte Colors
  • Off-roading Tires
  • 12-inch Wider Tires
  • Combi Braking System (CBS)
  • Telescopic Front Forks

Aprilia Storm 125 price in Nepal is Rs. 2,44,900.

You will see major visual changes with new colors, wider tires, and CBS braking. However, the rest is pretty much the same.

Moving on, you get to choose from matte Red-Black color and matte Yellow-Black color.

Likewise, it gets 12-inch chunkier tires. These are mostly focused on performance and stability at higher speeds. Plus, it adds to the off-roading experience.

Talking about the bad aspects of the scooter, it isn’t available in the disc variant. In return, the braking performance does suffer considerably. Despite the inclusion of CBS, it doesn’t really add much to the experience.

Comparing it with the competition, it goes head-on against TVS NTorq 125.

Both have similar performance on offer. While Aprilia Storm wins out on power figures by 0.54PS, TVS NTorq wins out on torque figures by 0.80Nm.

On a straight comparison of the features, it is pretty clear. TVS NTorq comes out on top with a multifunction instrument console, optional disc variant, and LED lights.

Everything about performance in a scooter started with the Aprilia SR 125 in Nepal.

Aprilia SR 125 is powered by a 125cc single-cylinder 4-stroke, 3-valve air-cooled engine. It can produce a max power of 9.46 BHP at 8500 rpm and 9.9 Nm at 6250 rpm. Moreover, it uses CVT transmission with more race-theme performance.

Again, the performance in SR 125 is the same as Storm 125, with few differences.

  • 14-inch Normal Tires
  • Available in Disc Variant
  • Telescopic Front Forks

Aprilia SR 125 price in Nepal is Rs. 2,50,900.

SR 125 shares the same Aprilia DNA, matched with exceptional style, power, and performance. However, it does little to differentiate among the other SR models.

As an example, SR 125 shares most of its components with SR 150 including the 14-inch black alloy wheels.

An average on-looker might not be able to distinguish between the two, which is slightly disappointing.

Like before, Aprilia SR 125 goes head-on against TVS NTorq 125 Race Edition. Yet again, TVS NTorq comes out on top with a multifunction instrument console, dual disc variant, and LED lights.

Aprilia SR 150 is available in two different variants in Nepal. As for the pricing, Aprilia SR 150 price in Nepal starts at Rs. 2,91,900 for Standard variant and Rs. 3,13,900 for the Race Edition.

Aprilia SR 150 Race Edition
Aprilia SR 150 Race Edition

SR 150 successfully offers one of the best power in its segment. Hence, it should come as no surprise that Aprilia SR 150 doesn’t have any kind of major competitor.

How about Yamaha NMax 155? Different segments with different prices.

Anyways, let’s look deeper at Aprilia SR 150.

I love everything about this scooter, expect the pricing.

Both variants are priced at Rs. 2.91 Lakhs to Rs. 3.13 Lakhs. Really? Like really?

This is overpriced at best! Sure, it features a 3-valve engine with good performance figures.

But, it is still a BS4 compliant engine. Aprilia has no right to charge this much for a 150cc Carburetor engine!

You could instead go for TVS Apache RTR 160 4V or Bajaj Pulsar NS 160 ABS or any other 150-160cc motorcycle at much less price!

However, if you want an Aprilia Scooter regardless, I’d strongly recommend going for either Aprilia Storm 125 or Aprilia SR 125 instead.

Thoughts on Aprilia Scooters Price in Nepal

So, that was a quick list of Aprilia scooters price in Nepal.

Unlike other popular scooter brands, Aprilia scooters in Nepal are somewhat limited. Additionally, these scooters are built for performance with Italian sporty appeal.

While Aprilia doesn’t really have as many variations as Yamaha, TVS, Honda, Suzuki, or Hero, it has just enough to hold its own.

Most importantly, all of these are excellent Italian scooters. While I do not agree with the pricing, these scooters still offer top-level performance for its segment.
