Aprilia SR 125 and SR 150 continue to be a steady seller in the Nepali market. To continue that trend, Aprilia Nepal has introduced a much-awaited upgrade.

Compared to the older generation, the Aprilia SR 160 sports a larger 160cc FI engine with quality-of-life improvements over its lights, instrument cluster, braking, and more.

Design

Aprilia SR 160 continues the SR 150 design. However, it has been more refined by bringing the scooter into the modern era.

The front section comes with apron-mounted LED lights with integrated DRL. Like before, the halogen indicators are positioned at the handlebar.

The overall front has been beefed up, which should improve the overall riding dynamics and ergonomics.

Coming to the side profile, there isn’t that drastic change.

Moreover, it is mated to a CVT transmission with a 6-liter fuel tank capacity.

It is a BS6-compliant Fuel Injection Engine.

Aprilia’s iGet Engine brings never-before-seen refinement to the table. Moreover, the iGet technology has a new FI system with a newer starter motor, a larger airbox, and an optimized transmission.

These new combinations promote a familiar sporty performance while setting new standards for reduced vibrations, improved fuel economy, and cleaner emissions.
