As with other Redmi phones, it also has an IR blaster on the top. On the right, you’ll find the power button, which also serves as a fingerprint scanner, and the volume buttons.
It has two speakers: one on top and one on the bottom. Along with a speaker, the bottom houses a microphone and a USB Type-C port.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Colour Options:
Furthermore, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 is available in three colours: Graphite Gray, Star Blue, and Twilight Blue.
Display
Xiaomi has upgraded the display of the Redmi Note 11. It is still a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel, but this time, the company has included support for up to 90Hz refresh rate, which its predecessor, the Redmi Note 10, did not have.
The high refresh rate enables a smoother experience for the user. Xiaomi says that the phone has a peak brightness of 1000nits.
The phone also has a Widevine L1 certification, meaning you can stream HD and HDR videos from video streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and more.
Performance
The Redmi Note 11 is one of the first to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G chipset. Almost every other budget phone after the Note 11 now comes with the Snapdragon 680 SoC, including the Realme 9, Samsung Galaxy A23, Oppo A76, Vivo Y55, and Honor X7, among many others.
It has an Adreno 610 GPU and an octa-core CPU including two Arm Cortex-A73 (up to 2.4GHz) and six Arm Cortex-A53 (up to 1.8GHz). Apart from the more efficient 6nm process node, the Snapdragon 680 does not provide a significant upgrade over the Snapdragon 678 SoC found on its predecessor.
Moving on, the phone is available in three memory configurations: 4GB RAM 64GB storage, 4GB RAM 128GB storage, and 6GB RAM 128GB storage.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pros and Cons
As said earlier, we have already used and reviewed the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11. So, here are the pros and cons of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 we found during our testing.
Pros
Good design: Although the Redmi Note 11 has a plastic back, the Star Blue colour option has a cool glitter finish spread around the whole back panel. It also does not catch fingerprints. The phone is not that bulky or heavy. Overall, the device has a good design.
90Hz AMOLED panel: The display’s colour reproduction is good, as we would expect from an AMOLED panel. Additionally, the display is smooth thanks to the increased 90Hz refresh rate capabilities, something the Note 10’s 60Hz display lacked.
Good battery: The efficient Snapdragon 680 chipset combined with the 5000mAh battery delivered a good battery life with 8 hours of screen-on-time.
Fast charging speed: The provided 33W fast charger can charge the device fully in an hour from 0%.
Decent main camera: The main sensor can capture good photos in daylight conditions with a decent amount of detail. However, the photos lack a bit of sharpness and the exposure was a hit or miss.
Dual speaker: Normally budget smartphones come with a single speaker setup. But Note 11 comes with two dedicated speakers. The speakers are not the best, but it is loud with decent clarity.
Cons
Downgraded performance: The Snapdragon 680 4G chipset does not bring a significant performance upgrade apart from the more efficient 6nm process. The 680 uses Kryo 265 CPU cores, Adreno 610 GPU, and X11 LTE modem, all of which are inferior to what the Snapdragon 678 in the Redmi Note 10 offers.
Average ultrawide camera: The ultrawide camera does not take as vibrant pictures as the main camera does. In addition, it lacks detail and appears soft.
No 4K video support: The Redmi Note 10 was capable of recording 4K video, but the Redmi Note 11 does not support 4K video recording.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Alternatives
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 may not be the upgrade that we expected, but it is still one of the best phones under Rs. 25,000 in Nepal in 2022. However, that does not mean there is no competition.
The Samsung Galaxy F22 still holds the title for the best budget phone. The F22 has a 90Hz AMOLED screen, good performance, and great camera capabilities. The Poco M5 and Realme Narzo 50 are other good options that deliver great performance, good battery life, and a high refresh rate FHD+ display.
The Realme 9i is also an overall decent phone, but the above three phones offer better value than the Realme 9i.
