It has been almost two months since its soft-launch, but nobody is paying DFSK any attention. And, that’s unfair! So, we want to talk about the all-new DSFK and all its nifty features.

DFSK Glory 580 comes in two different variants: manual and CVT transmission. If you haven’t read the title already, the DFSK Glory 580 price in Nepal is Rs. 62,80,000 for the manual transmission. Likewise, the DFSK Glory 580 price in Nepal is Rs. 69,99,500 for the CVT transmission.

DFSK Glory 580 Overview

DFSK Glory 580 is powered by 1.5L SFGT Turbocharged Engine with a 1498cc displacement. It can generate a max power of 134.102HP! Furthermore, it comes with a fuel capacity of 58 liters with an average mileage at 7.4kmpl.

Talking about the suspension setup, you get a MacPherson Independent Front Suspension and Torsion Beam Rear Suspension. Moreover, you get dual disc brakes on both front and rear wheels with ABS.

Unfortunately, it only comes as Front-Wheel Drive with no 4WD option. However, that shouldn’t be a major turn-off as DFSK Glory 580 comes with “Snow Mode”. This mode kind of acts as a temporary 4WD for slippery road scenario and intra-city off-roading.

Should You Buy DFSK Glory 580 in Nepal?

Hell Yes! Are you kidding me? Clearly, it has so much to offer for that price point. Moreover, I know for the fact that people have settled for far less. Don’t believe me? Consider Kia Sportage with a starting price of Rs. 69.9 Lakhs. Despite being priced as much as a top-variant Glory 580, Kia Sportage base variant does not even have a freaking fog lamp!!! Even if I let that one slide, that same variant comes with halogen headlamps. I mean, that is so unfair!

If popular car brands pull stupid stuff like this, DFSK deserves more attention. I know, DFSK is a new brand, but they are trying. Yes, I know that being a new brand is the only disadvantage. And, people don’t usually leap head-on towards a new brand. But give it a chance!
