Vivo S-series is Coming Soon to Nepal: What to Expect?

Vivo has launched plenty of mobiles in Nepal ranging from budget to mid-rangers. Most of them are from Vivo’s Y-series and V-series. And, now there are reports that Vivo will be launching the S-series here in Nepal. Furthermore, the S-series phones will focus more on style, speed, and smartness.

Vivo’s S-series phones are only available in China as of now; the S1 and S1 Pro. These are the rebranded version of Vivo V15 and Vivo V15 Pro. But the upcoming S-series smartphones that are to be launched in India and Nepal will be different.

Competition & Price

The upcoming S-series phones should be competing against the newly refreshed Samsung Galaxy A-series and other mid-range phones from rival Chinese manufacturers. The name of the devices have not been yet confirmed but phoneradar reported that the new S-series device will be launched in two different storage options (6GB + 128GB ad 8GB + 12GB).

Furthermore, the price is expected to be under INR. 20,000 and INR. 25,000 respectively for 6GB and 8GB RAM variants. The S-series is expected to launch in July in India and should launch within a week or so in Nepal. But it is yet to be confirmed.

Recently, Vivo launched the VIVO Y15 in Nepal with MediaTek MT6762 Helio P22, 4GB RAM, and 64GB internal storage for Rs. 26,290. It features a 6.35 inches LCD screen with a screen resolution of 720 x 1544 pixels and triple camera setup on the rear.

Well, if Vivo S-series is expected to compete with Samsung’s Galaxy A series then we should expect them to not compromise on any department. Also, the price should be aggressive as the smartphone battle in the midfield is intense this year.
