Design

The design of the Samsung Galaxy M22 is the same as the Galaxy F22, Galaxy A22, and Galaxy M32. It also has a polycarbonate back with a square camera bump at the top left corner.

The flashlight is beneath the square camera module as the other devices. On the front, it has a waterdrop notch with a bit of a chin. The device weighs around 186g with 8.4mm thickness.

Galaxy M22 is available in three colors: Black, White, and Light Blue.

Display

The phone sports a 6.4-inch HD+ Super AMOLED display that supports a 90Hz refresh rate.

Hardware

Samsung has not disclosed the actual name of the processor but they mentioned that the chipset has cores clocked at 2GHz and 1.8GHz.

Our guess is that Samsung M22 is using the MediaTek Helio G80 which has two Cortex-A75 (@2.0GHz) cores, and six Cortex-A55 (@1.8GHz) cores, and a Mali-G52 MC2 GPU.

For the memory, only one configuration with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage is available.

Camera

Inside a familiar-looking square camera module is a quad-camera setup. It consists of a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor.

On the front, it has a 13MP selfie camera. Both the rear and front cameras can shoot up to 1080p at 30fps.

Battery and Others

The Samsung Galaxy M22 has a 5000mAh battery. It charges via USB Type-C and supports 25W fast charging.

Furthermore, it runs on OneUI 3.1 based on Android 11.

Samsung Galaxy M22 is another lower mid-range phone that looks identical to the Galaxy A22 and Galaxy F22.

The only differences here are that it supports 25W fast charging instead of 15W, it comes with only 4GB+128GB memory configuration, and the main camera’s aperture lens is f/2.0 instead of f/1.8.

Apart from few minor differences, these three phones are the exact same phone with different names.
