Samsung Galaxy S22 Price in Nepal and Availability

The Samsung Galaxy S22 price in Nepal is Rs. 1,09,999 (8/256GB) after a limited-time cashback offer. It is available for purchase at Samsung-authorized stores across Nepal.

Initially, the Galaxy S22 was priced at Rs. 1,12,999. But in July 2022, Samsung hiked the price of the Galaxy S22, along with the S22+ and S22+ Ultra, by Rs. 6,000 in response to the decision by the Government of Nepal to hike the excise duty from 2.5% to 5%.

Again in January 2023, just before the launch of the Galaxy Fold 4 and Flip 4, Samsung increased the price of the Galaxy S22 by Rs. 6,000. The price of the Galaxy S22 Ultra was also raised alongside it, while the price of the S22 Plus remains the same.

Samsung has now offered a limited-time Rs. 15,000 cashback on the S22 which takes its price below what it originally launched at.

Compared to the S21, the S22 is slightly smaller and boxier. The camera housing now matches the color of the body and has a glass back. It also has a new main camera and telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 and the Galaxy S22+ are very similar in terms of design and features, with only a few exceptions. Apart from the display and battery sizes, some of the differences between the two are the peak brightness, Wi-Fi standards support, and fast charging support.

The S22 has 1300nits of display brightness (the S22+ has 1750nits), does not support Wi-Fi 6E (the S22+ does), and only supports up to 25W fast charging (the S22+ supports up to 45W). It also lacks Ultra Wideband (UWB) support, which the S22+ does.
