Alpha Automotive, the authorized distributor of Royal Enfields in Nepal, has officially launched the 2025 Royal Enfield Meteor 350 with a fresh set of quality-of-life updates. This update directly addresses the shortcomings of the older version, most notably the lack of ABS, which left many disappointed. That issue has now been corrected, and the Meteor returns with all the essential features it should have had from the start.

It continues to carry the familiar cruiser styling that draws inspiration from the beloved Thunderbird. And with Royal Enfield now assembling motorcycles within Nepal, the pricing remains surprisingly competitive, especially considering the new features and improvements included in this 2025 edition.

The previous Meteor 350 was about Rs. 22,000 to Rs. 27,000 cheaper. But that price was achieved by removing Dual-Channel ABS and the Tripper Navigation pod. While the Tripper unit is still not standard in the new model, it can be added as an optional accessory. However, Adjustable Levers and a Type-C USB charging port available in the Indian version are missing from the Nepali-spec model for now.

Royal Enfield offers a 3-year or 30,000 km warranty on the Meteor 350, which can be extended with roadside assistance for up to an additional four years or 40,000 km. This upgraded warranty structure applies across the entire Royal Enfield lineup in Nepal.

Price List by Brands

With this update, RE Nepal has refreshed nearly its entire lineup for 2025, with only the Hunter 350 still waiting for its turn. The real question now is whether the new Meteor 350 has the presence and features to stay competitive in an increasingly crowded segment. Let’s find out.

Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Overview

Design

The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 carries a classic cruiser silhouette while preserving the unmistakable retro charm that defines the brand. Its teardrop tank, low-slung stance, and relaxed rider triangle position place it among the truest cruisers in the sub-400cc category.

At the front, the Meteor now sports a signature round LED headlamp that refreshes Royal Enfield’s traditional design language. Depending on the variant, the headlamp casing and mirrors come finished in either chrome or black, giving each trim its own identity. The higher-spec Aurora and Supernova variants add a touring windscreen for better wind protection on long rides. The Supernova further elevates its premium appeal with chrome indicators and bar ends.

From the side, the Meteor 350 looks proportionate and composed. The low seat height, pulled-back handlebars, and forward-set footpegs create a relaxed cruiser riding posture. The sculpted 15-liter fuel tank flows into a long single-piece seat, giving the bike a clean and continuous profile.

Engine and exhaust finishes help differentiate the variants. Fireball and Stellar lean towards a stealthy look with blacked-out components, while Aurora and Supernova embrace chrome for a more refined presence.

Similarly, the wheel choices follow the same philosophy. Fireball and Stellar use standard alloy wheels, Aurora goes for spoke wheels to match its retro theme, and Supernova features diamond-cut alloys for a modern touch. These small details across mirrors, indicators, and handlebar treatments build up unique personalities for each variant.

The rear section carries forward the Meteor’s cohesive styling. A rounded LED tail lamp sits neatly beneath the integrated grab rail. Stellar and higher trims include a pillion backrest. As for the seat finish, the Fireball, Stellar, and Aurora come with black seats, while the Supernova stands apart with brown upholstery and contrast stitching that adds a richer visual tone.

The Meteor 350 is available in a range of colors depending on the variant: Supernova Black, Aurora Retro Green, Aurora Red, Stellar Marine Blue, Stellar Matt Grey, Fireball Orange, and Fireball Grey.

Performance

Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is powered by the new 349cc, Single-Cylinder, Air-Cooled, SOHC, EFI engine. It can generate a max power of 20.48PS at 6100rpm and a max torque of 27Nm at 4000rpm. Moreover, it is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

The powertrain figures remain unchanged, but the engine has been updated to meet BS6 OBD-II standards, which also makes it compatible with E20 fuel. The main mechanical improvement comes in the transmission, which now features a Slipper Clutch for lighter clutch action and smoother downshifts.

Just like before, the Meteor 350 continues to use the familiar J-Series engine, where the engine made its first debut. It remains a long-stroke SOHC motor known for its strong low-end torque. The inclusion of a counterbalancer helps keep vibrations under control, allowing the engine to deliver a smoother and more relaxed cruising experience.

Additional Details

The Meteor 350 is built on a Twin Down-Tube Frame that improves cornering, makes low-speed maneuvering easier, and offers better stability at higher speeds.

In terms of dimensions, there isn’t much of a change. It measures 2140 mm in length, 845 mm in width, and 1310 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1400 mm. Suspension duties are handled by a 41 mm telescopic fork with 130 mm of travel at the front and twin-tube emulsion shock absorbers at the rear, which come with a 6-step adjustable preload.

The bike offers 170 mm of ground clearance and carries a kerb weight of 191 kg. For braking, it features a standard dual-disc setup supported by Dual-Channel ABS.

All four variants share the same mechanical setup and standard updates, which include the LED headlamp, Slipper Clutch, and Dual-channel ABS. Fireball Rs. 577000
Stellar Rs. 587000
Aurora Rs. 591900
Supernova Rs. 597000

The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 sits in a unique spot within RE’s lineup, acting as the bridge between the Hunter 350 and the Classic 350. It boasts the easy, roadster-like maneuverability of the Hunter, making it comfortable in traffic, while offering noticeably improved cruising ability compared to the Classic. This combination creates a niche of its own, and for riders who enjoy this relaxed yet capable style, the new Meteor 350 feels like the most complete option among its siblings.

The previous version struggled to justify its pricing, especially after RE Nepal removed Dual-Channel ABS to make it “more affordable.” Thankfully, the 2025 update corrects that approach. Most of the essential features are now standard, and the bike finally feels like the Meteor it was meant to be. It still lacks a few features available in the Indian version, which is likely to keep the pricing competitive; however, none of these omissions detracts from the overall experience.

With its refreshed feature set, aggressive pricing, and the legacy that Royal Enfield carries, the Meteor 350 easily stands out as the best choice in the retro-cruiser category in Nepal.
