Xiaomi has launched the Redmi 10 in Nepal. It’s the Indian variant, which is different from the global Redmi 10 (which is called the Redmi 10 Prime 2022 in Nepal).
Redmi 10 Price in Nepal is Rs. 18,999 for the 4/64GB variant and Rs. 21,999 for the 6/128GB variant. The device is available at Xiaomi authorised stores across Nepal.
The Redmi 10 was launched in India in March 2022 and is a new addition to Redmi 10 series. It succeeds the popular budget phone — the Redmi 9 — in Nepal. The same phone is marketed as Redmi 10C in the global market. Only the battery size differs depending on the region.
I absolutely hate the way Xiaomi names its products in different regions. The previous launch of the Redmi Note 11 series in Nepal also caused a great deal of unnecessary confusion, as the Note 11 series is not identical everywhere in the world.
Anyway, in this article, we will look at the features and specifications of the Redmi 10.

Redmi 10 Overview
Design
The Redmi 10 Power is available in three colours: Midnight Black, Pacific Blue, and Caribbean Green. The textured plastic back features a huge black square that houses cameras, flash, Redmi branding, and a fingerprint sensor.
A similar camera design was also seen on last year’s Narzo 50A. The right side of the Redmi 10 Power has power and volume buttons, whereas the bottom side houses a mic, USB Type-C port, and a speaker. The 3.5mm headphone jack is given on the top side.

Display
It comes with a 6.71-inch HD+ IPS LCD display. The display has a typical brightness of 400 nits.
It’s a 20.6:9 aspect ratio display and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. And unsurprisingly, it has a 60Hz refresh rate.
Hardware
The Redmi 10 is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset. It’s built on a 6nm process technology and has an Adreno 610 GPU and eight Kryo 265 CPU cores.
Four of the CPU cores are Arm Cortex-A73 at 2.4GHz clock speed and the rest are Arm Cortex-A53 cores running at 1.9GHz. The processor is paired with 4/6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64/128GB UFS 2.2 storage.
Camera
The rear has a dual-camera setup consisting of a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The front has a 5MP selfie camera. Both the front and the back can shoot video at up to 1080p at 30 fps.
Battery and OS
A 6000mAh battery powers the device. This is the only obvious distinction between the Redmi 10 and the global variant of the Redmi 10C. The global Redmi 10C has a battery capacity of 5000mAh.
The device supports 18W fast charging, but sadly, only a 10W charger will be provided in the box. For the software, it boots on MIUI 13 based on Android 11 out of the box.

The Redmi 10 is the successor to Redmi 9 which was launched in 2020 in Nepal. The Redmi 10 comes with a decent Snapdragon 680 SoC. It’s a popular budget chipset that powers a number of smartphones in 2022, including the Redmi Note 11, Realme 9i, Oppo A76, and Samsung Galaxy A23.
It only has an HD+ display and also does not feature an ultrawide camera. Additionally, only a 10W charger is provided with the device instead of an 18W.
