As it happens, the 2019 Hyundai Venue has launched in Nepal! Obviously, nobody saw it coming, launching the Hyundai Venue mere days before the NADA Auto Show 2019. Nonetheless, it was a pleasant surprise.
But none of that matters, as we got to see it much quicker! As for the pricing, Hyundai has nailed it! Hyundai Venue is now the stepping stone for every other manufacturer to follow, offer everything they have at a much more affordable price!
So, the 2019 Hyundai Venue price in Nepal starts at Rs. 36,26,000. By the way, the price is still unbelievable! Well done, Hyundai Nepal, well done! Moreover, we will see it across three different variants: 1.2 Kappa Petrol, 1.0 Turbo Petrol, and 1.4 U2 CRDi Diesel.
2019 Hyundai Venue Overview
Hyundai Venue marks the first-ever sub-4m compact SUV from the company. Based on the variant, it is powered a 1.2-liter petrol engine which generates max torque of 115Nm and max power of 83bhp. Moreover, it is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
Likewise, a much more powerful turbocharged 1.0-liter Kappa petrol engine is also available. This engine can generate max torque of 172Nm and max-power of 118bhp. Furthermore, it is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission (also available in 7-speed dual-clutch transmission).
Similarly, Hyundai Venue is also available in a diesel variant. It is powered by a 1.4-liter diesel engine which generates max torque of 220Nm and max power of 89bhp.
Moving onto the styling, both the exterior and the interior follow the “premium SUV” vibe. You get a large chrome mesh grille and new front headlamp design. Similarly, you will continue to get the “premium finish” inside the car which includes leather interiors, glossy finish, and metal finish.
2019 Hyundai Venue is available in seven different color variations: Star Dust, Fiery Red, Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Deep Forest, Lava Orange, and Denim Blue. Additionally, Blue with White roof, White with Black Roof, and Orange with a Black roof are another three dual-tone exterior color variants.

2019 Hyundai Venue comes with an 8-inch touch infotainment system (with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay) which will include Blue Link connectivity tech. This is very similar to MG’s “Inside Internet” system which allows the car to send Auto Crash Notification, Panic Notification, Vehicle Tracking, and Emergency Assistance, among others. Air Purifier, Wireless Charging, Eco Coating among others are another list of features.
Talking about the safety features, the 2019 Hyundai Venue comes with the latest and greatest. You will get Dual Front Airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX, Parking Sensors, Speed Sensing Auto Door Lock, and Crash Sensing Auto Door Unlock. Well, these are pretty standard for 2019 SUVs. However, you can get “top-variant” features like Auto Headlamps with Escort Function, Cornering Lamps, Vehicle Stability Management, Hill Assist, and Six Airbags.
