Benelli TRK 251 Coming Soon in Nepal; To Be Unveiled at NADA Auto Show 2019

As we are approaching NADA Auto Show 2019, almost all brands are prepping up to bring their A-game at the event. Everyone wants to be the talk of the event, but that’s not easy. Compared to the previous year, there’s a whole lot of upcoming cars and motorcycles to be showcased at the event. Standing out might be one of the daunting tasks, but it is not impossible.

In the latest news, Benelli Nepal joins the list with two new bikes in Nepal: Benelli TRK 251 and Benelli Leoncino 251. Additionally, Benelli TRK 251 is an adventure motorcycle with a very familiar “adventure sports” design. Similarly, Benelli Leoncino 251 is a scrambler motorcycle with the “naked” design. Interestingly, Benelli Leoncino 251 is supposed to be a scrambler, however, it looks very different than the standard scrambler design.

Right now, we’re going to do a quick rundown on Benelli TRK 251. As we’ve previously stated, Benelli TRK 251 is confirmed to launch in Nepal. Moreover, the Benelli TRK 251 price in Nepal is Rs. 6,30,000.

Benelli TRK 251 Overview

Benelli TRK 251 is powered by a 249.2cc liquid-cooled fuel-injected engine. Furthermore, it can generate a max power of 18kW at 9500rpm and max torque of 21Nm at 7500rpm. Moreover, it is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a 17-liter fuel tank.

Talking about the features, you will get all the stuff you’d normally see in a premium motorcycle, like Upside-down Forks, Dual-Channel ABS, large instrument cluster among others. Moreover, Benelli TRK 251 will be available in three different color variants: Black, White and Red.

Moving onto the styling, it is very similar to other adventure motorcycles like the BMW 850 GS and Honda’s CRF series.

What’s the difference between the competition? Is the name the only difference? Well, I don’t know. Guess, we’ll find out soon enough.

Okay, that’s all I can say about the new Benelli TRK 251. Interestingly, the motorcycle looks cool, macho and check off all the boxes for an adventure motorcycle. Plus, the price tag of Rs. 6.30 Lakhs sure does sound awesome and… reasonable.
