Honda CBR 650R

Let’s start off the list with Upcoming Honda Bikes in Nepal. Its Honda’s very own superbike called the Honda CBR 650R. So, Honda CBR 650R marks it as a new entry to the popular CBR series. We’ve seen the likes of CBR 250R, CBR 650F, and CBR 600RR. Unfortunately, CBR 650R will replace the CBR 600RR. What does this mean?  Basically, it is out with the old and brings in with the new.

Talking about the new, it is powered by a liquid-cooled, 4-cylinder, 4-valve, Fi-engine with 649cc engine displacement. This can generate a max power of 95PS at 12000rpm and max torque of 64Nm at 8500rpm. Furthermore, the list of features rumored to include are Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), sporting riding position, new frame, changes to valve timing, refined intake system, LED lights, and advanced LCD instrument cluster.

Yamaha R15 v3 ABS variant has been officially announced! So, it is just a matter of months before it gets to Nepal. Additionally, Yamaha R15v3 is powered by the same single cylinder, liquid-cooled SOHC engine with 155.1cc displacement. Taking about the power train, it can produce a max power of 19.04 Bhp at 10000 rpm and max torque of 14.7 NM at 8500 rpm. Moreover, the list of features will remain the same.

What’s different?

Finally, you will get Dual-Channel ABS along with a new darker and sportier color! If you are wondering, yes, Yamaha R15 v3 ABS will cost more due to the included Dual-Channel ABS.

Yamaha MT-15

On March, Yamaha announced the launch of the Yamaha MT-15—the Street Version of the R15—in India. Since it comes from the Yamaha’s “Dark Side of Japan” line up, it is drastically different from something Yamaha has ever launched!

Right out of the box, Yamaha MT-15 is a premium 150cc sports bike. It is powered by a 155cc liquid-cooled, 4-valve, 4storke, single cylinder engine. Mated to the six-speed gearbox, it generates a max power of 19.30HP at 10,000rpm and a max torque 14.7Nm at 8,500rpm. Talking about the features, it gets a unique LED headlight, the single piece seat, and the fuel tank which is bold and aggressive. Unlike Yamaha R15, the seating position is upright and far more comfortable.

All in all, it is very similar to Yamaha R15 v3.0 to some extent, which includes the refined engine and powerful performance. However, the major difference will be its sporty style.

Technically, Yamaha has already launched the Yamaha FZS FI v3.0 variant. However, they have yet to launch their sibling in Nepal. Everything about FZS FI and FZ FI is the same which includes the styling, engine, and performance.

Basically, the “S” in FZS stands for “Style”. You get more attractive dual-tone colors, chrome-finish grills, and the engine cover in Yamaha FZS FI. However, if you subtract the “S”, you will have to spend slightly less in order to buy Yamaha FZ FI.

Suzuki Gixxer SF 250

Over the few years, we haven’t seen Gixxer series go over any major change. However, in Suzuki Gixxer SF 250, things are radically different, in terms of design, engine, and performance. It is powered by a 4-stroke, single-cylinder, oil-cooled, SOHC, 4-valve, 249-cc engine. Moreover, this will deliver a max power of 26.5PS at 9,000 rpm and max torque of 22.6 Nm at 7,500 rpm.

On the visual side, Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 is different than its predecessor. You will notice a more prominent design which is fully faired and sporty! Moreover, you will also get LED lights, Dual-channel ABS, and new Instrument Cluster.

Frankly, Suzuki Gixxer SF is very similar to its newly launched elder cousin. It goes through an extensive visual change compared to the Gixxer 150. However, it is powered by the same 154.9cc engine. However, it is going to be a Fuel-Injected one! This can generate a max power of 14.6Ps at 8000rpm and max torque of 14Nm at 6000rpm.

Compared to the Gixxer SF 250, it comes with single-channel ABS, 5-speed manual transmission, and slightly smaller dimensions. Other than that, it is still kind of similar to the SF 250 aesthetics with the same LED lights, same 12-liter fuel tank among other things.

Bajaj is planning to give the “Single-Channel ABS” update to every bike in its line-up. This also includes Bajaj Pulsar 150 Neon Edition. However, that cannot be considered as the Upcoming Bajaj Bikes in Nepal. But there’s one Bajaj bike nobody is talking about, 2019 Bajaj Pulsar 180.

As you know, the new Bajaj Pulsar 150 TD takes its design inspiration form the sportier Pulsar 180 with the wider tires, split seats, etc. However, it makes the Pulsar 180 absolute! In 2019 Bajaj Pulsar 180, you get a different design. Imagine Bajaj Pulsar 220 body design with the 180cc engine. So, the overall engine and performance will remain the same, however, the design will be very different.

CFMoto 250SR is powered by a liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine with a 250cc displacement. As expected, the engine can produce a max power of 26.5PS at 9000rpm and max torque of 22Nm at 7500rpm. Like its sibling, it gets a dual-channel ABS along with a detailed TFT instrument console.

Furthermore, it likely comes with a hydraulic clutch, USD Forks, comfortable seats, and so much more. If you have experienced the magic of CFMoto, then 250SR will be no different.

Does the specs sheet sound familiar?

If you didn’t know, CFMoto 250SR is a fully faired version of the 250NK. So, you will get the same engine, same performance, and the same experience but in a fully faired machine. With the fully faired styling, you can truly say that the good just got better!
