realme has had quite the run lately. After debuting the P series in Nepal with the P3 and P3 Ultra, and with the Note 80 also on its way, realme is continuing to offer smartphones in the entry-level segment. And this time, they are coming with two new C series phones: the realme C100i and the realme C100x.

Now, if you have followed realme’s C series over the years, the naming has never really made much sense. We have seen the C63, C67, C75, and the C85 Series, and now suddenly we are jumping to the C100 series. That is a big leap in numbers for what is still an entry-level lineup. But regardless of the name, what matters is what is inside. So let’s get into it.
What is the Price of realme C100 Series in Nepal?
Considering realme’s recent track record with aggressive pricing on the P3, P3 Ultra, and GT 8 Pro, I am cautiously hopeful for the C100 pair as well.
The realme C100i price in Nepal could start at Rs. 21,999 for the 6/128GB variant, while the more premium C100x could land at Rs. 26,999 for the 6/256GB variant. Both phones sit squarely in the competitive entry-level segment.
If you are planning to pick one up, the realme C100i and C100x are now available through authorized realme stores and retailers across Nepal.
Now that we’ve covered the pricing, let’s get into what you actually get. Sure, both the C100i and C100x are entry-level smartphones, and that usually means a long list of compromises. But realme seems to have other plans.
Both phones boast some of the largest batteries in their segment. But is that enough to make them stand out, or is there more to the story? Let’s dive into the overview.
realme C100 Series Overview
Both the C100x and C100i are built around the same frame, so the dimensions are almost identical. The height and width are exactly the same on both phones. The only difference is in the thickness. The C100i comes in at 8.4mm, while the C100x is 0.2mm thicker.
That slight difference in thickness is likely due to the battery. The C100i sports a 7,000mAh battery, which is already very impressive for a budget phone. But the C100x takes it further with a massive 8,000mAh unit, making it one of the few budget phones to cross that 8,000mAh mark. The only other phone in the budget category with a comparable battery is the Moto G06 Power with 7,000mAh.
To charge the C100i’s battery, you get 15W wired charging, which is on the slower side. But then again, it is a budget phone, so it is hard to complain too much. The C100x, however, steps things up significantly with 45W fast charging, which is a genuinely impressive number at this price.
Both the C100x and C100i feature what looks like a pill-shaped camera module. At first glance, you would struggle to tell the two phones apart. But on closer inspection, the C100x has a raised pill-shaped module with some depth to it, similar to what you see on Samsung phones.
There is also a pulse light on the C100x that can display 9 different colors and even responds to music, calls, and camera countdowns. Pretty cool compared to your standard flash. On the other hand, the C100i’s camera module is flat with no raised section, just two camera cutouts. That instantly makes the C100x feel more premium of the two.

But it’s not just the design, the specs are better on the C100x as well. The C100i only has a single 8MP main camera paired with a 5MP selfie shooter. That is a pretty poor setup, especially when even one of the cheapest entry-level phones around, the Redmi A7, offers a 13MP setup.
The C100x fares significantly better here with a 50MP main camera paired with an auxiliary lens and a 5MP selfie shooter. It is worth noting that the C100x also supports NFC, while the C100i does not.

On the durability front, which seems to be the C100 series’ strongest selling point, both phones feature an IP64 rating with MIL-STD-810H certification and up to 2m drop resistance. What also caught my attention is that both phones come with display protection. The C100i has Panda Glass or Corning Gorilla Glass protection, while the C100x features ArmorShell protection.
The display is where things follow the usual budget phone script. Both phones have a 6.8-inch IPS LCD panel with an HD+ resolution. That combination is not great, since the HD+ resolution on such a large screen results in a pixel density of around 254PPI, meaning icons and visuals can look slightly pixelated.
I also have some doubts about the claimed 120Hz refresh rate. Phones running the Unisoc T7250 have historically struggled to deliver constant 120Hz. While the setting may show 120Hz on menus, apps like Instagram and Facebook tend to drop to around 90Hz.
We saw the same thing happen with the Redmi A5 and Infinix Smart 10 last year. On top of that, both phones still use a water drop notch, which instantly gives off budget vibes. The chin is not too thick, though, at least compared to some other budget phones.

Moving to performance, both phones run the Unisoc T7250 chipset, which seems to have become the go-to budget processor these days. You can find it on phones like the Redmi A7 and A7 Pro as well. It is a decent chip for a budget phone, but if realme prices either of these too high, the value proposition will drop quickly. For memory, both phones come with 6GB of RAM paired with either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage.
Since the phones have not officially launched in Nepal yet, we are not certain which variant will enter the market. Most likely, the C100i will get the 6/128GB option while the C100x will come with 6/256GB. Both also support a microSD card slot for further expansion.
Lastly, both the C100i and C100x boot Android 16 with realme UI 7 on top. As expected from entry-level smartphones, realme has not announced any software update policy.

realme has been launching phones at a rapid pace lately, and the C100i and C100x feel like a natural extension of that momentum into the entry-level space. Both phones get the essentials right. The processor is solid for an entry-level, and the battery is genuinely impressive on both.
The display and the camera are always going to be a compromise at this price range, and I am willing to overlook that. If realme nails the pricing, both the C100i and C100x could be strong picks in a very competitive segment. The C100x in particular, with its 8,000mAh battery, 45W charging, raised camera module, pulse light, NFC, and better camera, feels like the more complete package of the two. Keep an eye out for the official launch.
