HIGHLIGHTS
- Zeekr X price in Nepal is now Rs. 69.99 Lakhs.
- Currently, the Zeekr X is available only in a single variant.
- It is powered by a 200 kW Motor and a 66 kWh Battery pack.
Stuck between fading buzz and distributor’s anxiety about unsold stock, the Zeekr X has taken yet another price cut, this time by Rs. 5 Lakhs, as a festive offer. Not long ago, it dropped from Rs. 84.99 Lakhs to Rs. 74.99 Lakhs in the name of stock clearance. Was it poor timing, a weak appeal, or simply a misreading of the market? Either way, early buyers may feel shortchanged, while patient ones (if there are any) keep getting the sweeter deal.
Zeekr is one of the crown jewels in Geely Automobile Holdings’ massive lineup, and it made its way to Nepal in 2024. The brand’s debut came through Pioneer Moto Corp, which introduced the Zeekr X as the very first model for the Nepali market.
It’s actually the third production vehicle from Zeekr and sits on Geely’s highly versatile Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA). To get a bit more specific, it uses the SEA2 platform, which is designed especially for compact cars ranging from the B-segment all the way up to D-segment, with wheelbases stretching up to 2900 mm. And, the SEA2 is the same platform that underpins the upcoming Zeekr 7X, which many believe could also make its way to Nepal.
Critique-wise, if there’s one thing worth pointing out, it’s that Zeekr decided to test the waters with the X, a relatively compact SUV, rather than a larger or more premium model.
What is the Price of Zeekr X in Nepal?
Zeekr X price in Nepal is now set at Rs. 69.99 Lakhs. And, the Rear Wheel Drive variant is the only standardly available variant.
The Zeekr X has just gotten another price slash, and it looks like the timing couldn’t be better with the festive season right around the corner. Originally, this EV carried a hefty tag of Rs. 84.99 Lakhs. Then, a while back, Zeekr decided to knock off a neat Rs. 10 Lakhs, bringing it down to Rs. 74.99 Lakhs in hopes of clearing out what they called the “last 8 or 9 units.” Well, turns out those “last” units are still very much around. So, here we are with yet another festive push to finally get them moving.
Now, the offer isn’t just about the price. The distributors are throwing in some add-ons to make the deal look even better. Buyers get 1-year road tax coverage, a 1-year Auto Plus insurance, and a complimentary 7 kW AC wall charger. On top of that, the standard warranty coverage hasn’t changed.
The battery and motor are still covered for 8 years (or 1,60,000 km), while the vehicle itself carries a 4-year warranty. That part, at least, remains reassuring. As for the variants, the lineup has quietly slimmed down.
Zeekr X once came in both Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) and Flagship All-Wheel Drive (AWD). But now, the RWD is the only variant officially available in Nepal. If you want the AWD, you’ll have to go through the hassle of placing a special order.
Let’s take a quick look at the Zeekr X in Nepal, along with its key specifications for 2025.

Zeekr X Overview
Exterior
Since Zeekr is a brand Geely created specifically to make premium EVs, the design language of the Zeekr X tries to strike a balance between “Urban Aesthetics” and “New Premium Quality.” While the premium feel is definitely nailed down, the urban aesthetic part feels like it has spilled over into something a bit more dramatic. On Nepali roads, the Zeekr X looks anything but ordinary! It is bold, futuristic, and maybe even a little over-the-top for some tastes.
Let’s start with the face. The Double-Edged LED DRLs immediately grab attention. They are said to be made up of 56 individually controlled LEDs, all integrated into a horizontal light bar. This, paired with the matrix headlights, gives a sharp, robotic stare that feels like it belongs more to a sci-fi movie than a city street. Some will love that futuristic tone, while others might find it a bit too much. Either way, functionally the lights perform really well, so it is not just a style statement.
The front design continues with smooth contours that give it a buffed-up and still minimal appearance. The lower section has a wide air intake, framed by vertical elements that cleverly hide extra lights or sensors. It is a good mix of minimalism and detailing, which keeps the design from being boring.
Now, from the side, things get even more interesting. The Zeekr X sits on a 2750 mm wheelbase, and because of the way the platform has been designed, the Wheelbase-to-Body ratio makes it look longer than it really is. This greatly maximizes the cabin space, which we will get into later.
The floating roof effect created by blacked-out pillars adds a clean vibe to it. And, on the AWD variant, Zeekr has even added an Intelligent B-pillar that shows useful info like battery charge status and lock status. Unfortunately, the readily available RWD variant skips this feature, which feels like a bit of a missed opportunity.
While both variants have the cool-looking 19-inch Multi-Spoke wheels as standard, the AWD is supposed to come with a 20-inch quad-set as an option.

The rear ties the whole look together with quite a wide stance. The horizontal Taillights stretch across the tailgate, connected by a sleek light bar. At the center sits the Zeekr logo, right below a sharply angled rear window. If I have to nitpick a little, the boot door does sit a bit higher than I’d like. That means when you’re loading or unloading heavier stuff, it can feel slightly inconvenient.
That being said, the tailgate doors are electrically operated and also come with height adjustability, which too with a memory function.
As for the color options, it comes in five different colors currently: Crystal White, Grid Grey, Mist Grey, Palace Beige, and Pine Green.
Interior
The Zeekr X’s cabin immediately feels inviting. A lot of stitched and cushioned panels are neatly wrapped in PVC, giving off a sophisticated vibe. Sure, it’s not real leather everywhere, but the execution still feels polished and upscale enough to make an impression.
The seats are a highlight. Both the Driver and Passenger get Full Leatherette Upholstery, and the driver’s seat comes packed with features: 6-way Power Adjustment for Position and Height, 4-way Lumbar Support, Ventilation, and even a Memory function. The passenger seat, however, skips the height adjustment and memory settings. The front seats also come with Ventilation as a standard.
What’s also refreshing is that Zeekr doesn’t cut corners between the RWD and AWD models here. Unlike most brands that play the “variant downgrade” game with seat features, Zeekr keeps things consistent.
Moving to the dashboard, the design is sleek and lively. Illuminated accents add just the right amount of flair, while the highlight here is the 14.6-inch Slidable Central Screen that controls almost everything in the car. It’s flanked by a two-spoke steering wheel with 4-way Telescopic Adjustment and a neat 8.8-inch Digital Instrument Cluster.
Moreover, if you’re eyeing the AWD model, you also get a Head-Up Display with Augmented Reality. Sadly, the RWD version doesn’t get this trick, and it does leave you wishing Zeekr had included at least a simpler HUD across both trims. The audio experience also splits the two. The AWD flaunts a premium 13-speaker setup from Yamaha, while the RWD makes do with just 7-just speakers.
Other than that, the equipment list is identical between the versions. You still get the same computing chip powering the infotainment, Dual-Zone Climate Control, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and even a Sunroof.
And lastly, the interior comes with three dual-tone options: Black & Grey, Blue & White, and Mulberry & Rose.
Performance
Zeekr X Rear-Wheel-Drive (RWD) variant is powered by a 200 kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor(PMSM). It generates a max power of 271.9 PS and a max torque of 343 Nm.
In contrast, the Zeekr X All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) option is powered by a Dual PMSM: 115 kW at the front and 200 kW at the rear. It generates a max power of 428 PS and a max torque of 543 Nm, which makes the AWD a performance vehicle.
Both Variants are supported by a 66 kWh Ternary Lithium Battery that offers a range up to 440 Km (RWD variant) and 400 Km (AWD variant) on the WLTP scale. And, the charging time from 0 to 100% is around 11 hours and 30 minutes with the 7.2 kW AC charger, while the 11 kW AC charger drops the charging time to 7 hours and 30 minutes.
Furthermore, it can charge from 10% to 80% in around 30 minutes with a 150 kW DC Charger.
While both variants can reach a top speed of 190 Km/h, the AWD variant can do 0-100 Km/h in just 3.8 seconds, the RWD variant takes 5.6 seconds for that sprint.
Additional Details
McPherson Strut and Five-Link Independent suspension systems handle the suspension duties.
The dimensions are 4432 mm in length, 1836 mm in width, and 1566 mm in height. Moreover, the wheelbase is 2750 mm.
Zeekr X gets a ground clearance of 191 mm. And, the kerb weight is 1855 kg for the RWD variant and 1960 Kg for the AWD variant.
It includes a 362-liter boot space, which can be expanded to 1182 liters.

Zeekr X Price in Nepal and Availability
Zeekr X price in Nepal is Rs. 69,99,000 for the Rear-Wheel Drive variant.
If you’ve been eyeing the All-Wheel Drive variant, you’ll have to put in a special request with the distributor. Honestly, that makes it feel a little like a secret menu item, but maybe not everyone’s a fan of jumping through hoops for something that should’ve just been available outright.
In the AWD variant, you’d have the obvious Dual-Motor setup along with features such as an Intelligent B-Pillar screen, an AR heads-up display, and a 13-speaker Yamaha audio system.
On the brighter side, Zeekr Nepal is trying to sweeten the deal with its festive offer for the RWD variant as well. The price has been trimmed by Rs. 5 Lakhs, dropping it down from Rs. 74.99 Lakhs. Plus, they’re throwing in a 1-year Road Tax cover, a 1-year Auto Plus insurance, and a 7 kW AC wall charger. That’s a pretty solid bundle, but I wish the AWD was more accessible, and along with these extras, it’d have made the whole package much easier to swallow.
Additionally, Zeekr X comes with an 8-year (or 160000km) Warranty on the Battery and Motor and a 4-year Warranty on the vehicle.
Interested individuals can reach out to the Zeekr showroom for more information.

Rivals
Zeekr X rivals the XPeng G6.
Both models feature rear-wheel-drive configurations and deliver impressive motor outputs, 200 kW for the Zeekr X and 190 kW for the XPeng G6.
However, performance tilts slightly in favor of the Zeekr X, thanks to its lower kerb weight of 1855 kg compared to the G6’s 2095 kg. This weight difference translates into quicker acceleration, with the Zeekr X hitting 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.6 seconds, whereas the XPeng G6 takes 6.9 seconds.
The added weight of the G6 primarily stems from its LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery pack, which, while having the same 66 kWh capacity as the Zeekr X, offers potentially better battery longevity and thermal stability. In that sense, the weight increase may be a worthwhile trade-off, especially for buyers prioritizing long-term battery health and safety.
When considering long-term brand value, Zeekr and XPeng follow different strategies. Zeekr positions itself as a premium brand, evident in its healthy gross margin of 21.2% as reported in Q1 2025. In contrast, XPeng operates with a more volume-driven approach, maintaining a gross margin of around 15–16%.
Furthermore, while XPeng focuses heavily on autonomous driving technology, Zeekr capitalizes on Geely’s extensive resources to improve vehicle efficiency and design refinement.
Both brands enjoy strong backing and continue to expand aggressively in global markets. However, their Q1 2025 financial results showed notable net losses, which warrant close observation in the coming quarters to gauge sustainability and growth trajectories.
Despite both SUVs being attractive options in the mid-size EV space, the Zeekr X currently holds a slight advantage, primarily due to its sharper pricing, better performance metrics, and premium branding. Moreover, while both cars started out in a pretty similar price bracket, thanks to recent price cuts, the Zeekr X now slips into the market at a noticeably lower price than the G6.
