Deepal S07 Launched in Nepal: Premium Electric SUV with Style and Performance!

Deepal S07 has been officially launched in Nepal.

MAW Vriddhi AutoCorp, the authorized distributor of Changan vehicles in Nepal, has introduced its first-ever EV for the Nepali market.

Built on EPA1 EV platform, Deepal S07 is an all-electric SUV, packing in style, features, and performance.

Deepal is a part of Changan Auto, acting as a independent intelligent luxury EV brand.

Changan Nepal only offered ICE vehicles with Changan Alsvin and Changan Hunter. Now, the Deepal S7 becomes the first EV offering for the brand.

Interestingly enough, Deepal Nepal has customized the Motor spec, bringing it down from 190kW to 99kW to better match Nepali market preferences.

Deepal Nepal offers an 8-year (or 150000 Km warranty) on the Battery and Motor, a 3-year (or 120000 Km warranty) for the overall Vehicle and a 1-year warranty on the Charger.

Design

Deepal S07 sports a wide-body design, provoking pure simplicity and ultimate dynamic.

It gets the Moon String Front Face with well-defined ribs. Moreover, the doors are completely frameless with flush door handles.

Performance

Deepal S07 is powered by a 99kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor. It generates a max power of 134PS and a max torque of 320Nm, claiming a top speed of 180 kmph.

It is supported by a 66.8kWh Lithium (NMC) Battery, providing a 410 km WLTP Range in a single charge. It can fully charge in 9-10 hours with a 7kW AC charger and in 22 hours with a 3 kW AC charger.

Moreover, there is support for DC Fast Charging, doing 30% to 80% in just 35 minutes! 

Considering reliability of WLTP claim, Deepal S07 can easily provide a range of 350km to 380 km on a single charge in real world senarios.

Deepal S07 also gets four Drive Modes: Eco, Comfort, Sports, and Customize.

However, you can only access majority of the features, vehicles setting, and AC controls in the center touch infotainment because of its minimalistic approach.
