Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus, like the Redmi S2, has two configurations: 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB. The 3GB+32GB variant cost Rs. 20,999 when it launched but now the price has been slashed to Rs. 19,499. That is an Rs. 1,500 reduction. The 4GB+64GB variant that cost Rs. 24,999 previously now is available for Rs. 23,499. This is an Rs. 2,500 reduction. This brings the cost of the Redmi 5 Plus on par with the cost of Redmi S2.

Which phone you choose will depend upon your personal preference, but there are some key things to keep in mind. The Redmi S2 has an HD screen but there is a dual camera setup on the back.
