HIGHLIGHTS
- Suzuki V-Strom SX 250 price in Nepal is Rs. 6.00 Lakhs.
- The V-Strom is now available in two new colors: Pearl Blue and Pearl Glacier White.
- It is based on the Gixxer 250 that produces 26.5PS of max power and 22.2 Nm of max torque.
The Suzuki V-Strom SX 250 is now available in two fresh new color options. Aside from the updated shades, the motorcycle remains unchanged in terms of features and performance.

Vishal Group, the authorized distributor of Suzuki bikes in Nepal, is offering these new color variants at Rs. 5.99 Lakhs as an introductory offer for a limited time. This pricing will only last for a few days, as a price hike is set to happen as soon as next week.
Previously, the Suzuki V-Strom SX 250 was assembled in Nepal through the CKD process. That phase was more of a trial run, and the model is now being imported as a CBU. At the moment, only the Suzuki Gixxer 155 and Suzuki Avenis 125 are officially assembled locally using CKD kits, though Suzuki Nepal plans to expand CKD assembly to more models in the future.
Fortunately, the shift from CKD to CBU has not caused any major price changes. And even if Suzuki decides to switch back to CKD assembly later, the pricing is unlikely to move much, since Suzuki India sets the base price directly.
What is the Price of the Suzuki V-Strom SX 250 in Nepal?
Suzuki V-Strom SX 250 price in Nepal is Rs. 5,99,900 until November 30, 2025.
The new Pearl Fresh Blue + Glass Sparkle Black and Pearl Glacier White + Metallic Mat Stellar Blue color options are being offered at this same price during the introductory period. Once November ends, the price will be revised.
Starting 1 December 2025, the updated price for the V-Strom SX 250 will be Rs. 6,09,900.
The smaller-capacity adventure segment in Nepal is steadily growing, and Suzuki Nepal has entered this space with the V-Strom SX 250. This model is the most compact member of the V-Strom family, joining the likes of the iconic V-Strom 1050 and 650.
While it proudly inherits the V-Strom identity, the reality is more grounded. Underneath the ADV styling, the SX 250 remains closely tied to the Gixxer 250, sharing the same engine and core platform.
The question is whether these design tweaks and ergonomic changes are enough for the V-Strom SX 250 to stand out in an increasingly competitive segment. Let’s find out.

Suzuki V-Strom SX 250 Overview
Design
Suzuki V-Strom SX daunts with the rugged adventure-inspired looks.
The hallmarks of an adventure motorcycle are still present. It includes the Beak Design, Knuckle Covers, Windscreen, and Semi-Fairing Styling.
Interestingly enough, the beak design is heavily inspired by the iconic DR-Z and DR-BIG.
There are subtle references to the Gixxer series. The front LED Headlamp and side Indicators have been carried over from the naked Gixxer. Furthermore, it borrows the engine from the Gixxer 250 as well. This is further verified by the signature Dual-Port Exhaust.

The side profile also highlights many interesting elements. It gets a redesigned split-seat setup along with a larger 19-inch front tyre.

Finally, the rear profile sports a new LED Tail Lamp with a large rear carrier (6kg capacity).

The Instrument Cluster in the V-Strom is fully digital and looks very similar to those in the Gixxer. A decent range of information can be obtained from it; however, Bluetooth connectivity is missing, which comes as standard in adventure bikes.
Additionally, the Suzuki V-Strom SX comes in four different colors: Yellow, Black, Blue, and White.
Performance
Suzuki V-Strom SX 250 is powered by a 249cc, Single-cylinder, Oil-cooled, 2-valve, SOHC FI engine. It can generate a max power of 26.5PS at 9000rpm and a max torque of 22.6 Nm at 7500rpm.
Moreover, it is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission with a 12-liter fuel capacity.

It is a BS6-compliant FI engine, but again, it is the same engine as seen in the Gixxer 250. So, there is no change in overall configuration or powertrain figures.
Additional Details
The telescopic fork at the front and the Monoshock Swingarm at the rear handle suspension duties.
The dimensions are 2180mm in length, 880mm in width, and 1355mm in height. Moreover, the wheelbase sits at 1440mm. Suzuki V-Strom SX 250 gets a 205mm ground clearance. And, the kerb weight is 167kg.

Suzuki V-Strom SX 250 Price in Nepal and Availability
As for pricing, the Suzuki V-Strom SX 250 is priced at Rs. 5,99,900 until the end of November 2025. From December onward, the price will increase to Rs. 6,09,900. This is a straightforward Rs. 10,000 adjustment with no new mechanical or feature upgrades. The bike remains the same model that has been available in Nepal for some time.
Unfortunately, the Bluetooth connectivity is still missing, which the Indian version already offers. It is a missed opportunity, especially on an adventure-oriented motorcycle where navigation and smart features genuinely enhance the riding experience. Still, this appears to be an intentional decision to keep the overall pricing competitive in the Nepali market.
| Suzuki V-Strom SX 250 | Price in Nepal (until 31 Nov 2025) | Previous Price in Nepal (After 1 Dec 2025) |
|---|---|---|
| Suzuki V-Strom SX 250 | Rs. 599900 | Rs. 609900 |
Rivals
Suzuki V-Strom SX rivals the Honda NX 200 and KTM 250 Adventure.
The story between the Suzuki V-Strom SX 250 and the Honda NX 200 is quite similar. Both are essentially their naked versions dressed in adventure clothing. At the very least, Suzuki makes an effort by fitting a larger 19-inch front tyre, which genuinely shifts the riding dynamics toward the ADV side. On the other hand, Honda keeps the NX 200 almost identical to the Hornet 2.0, with the primary difference being its ADV-styled front end.
And yet, despite its smaller 184cc engine producing just 17.26PS and 15.9Nm, the NX 200 still manages to impress with its agility, fuel efficiency, and city-friendly nature. Add its aggressive price tag to the mix, and it becomes a tempting option for riders who want adventure-inspired styling without stretching their budget.
But the true benchmark in this category is the updated KTM 250 Adventure. Built on a new platform with a revised chassis, an updated SOHC engine, and improved suspension, it outperforms the V-Strom in almost every measurable area. It delivers 4.5PS more power and 2.4Nm more torque, offers far superior suspension travel at 200mm/205mm compared to 120mm in the V-Strom, and even combines 23mm higher ground clearance with a seat height that is 10mm lower.
On top of that, it packs advanced electronics and features such as Dakar-inspired styling, Ride-by-Wire throttle, a slipper clutch with quickshifter, multiple ABS modes, and a TFT color display with Bluetooth connectivity. It leaves both Japanese offerings far behind. Of course, this level of performance comes at a premium. The KTM costs more than Rs. 1.50 lakhs higher than its Japanese rivals. But considering what it brings to the table, the added investment feels justified.
