Skoda Superb looks amazing, perhaps one of the best-looking sedans right now. It offers good performance along with good handling and overall perfect ride experience.

Next thing is space, well, that’s one of the perks of buying Skoda sedans. Compared to its competition, Skoda Superb comes with plenty of legroom, headroom, and storage space! Skoda Kodiaq

“Skoda only sells SUVs?”

No. A few months ago, Skoda introduced its new 7-seater SUV in Nepal called Skoda Kodiaq. Following the rest of the lineup, Skoda Kodiaq is Skoda’s first luxurious take on the SUV segment.

Staying true to that, you can expect first-class features like attractive design, larger boot space, and muscular presence. While you still get a classic SUV body, but the edges give it a class of its own. Furthermore, you will get the top-tier features. But with the price of Rs. 1.52 Crore, you shouldn’t expect any less.

If I could go on and on about its features, we’d be here for the whole day. Let’s leave that for a different time. However, I will tell you this… Skoda Kodiaq looks like a promising car, but the price tag might be a little too much.

Which Skoda Cars Should You Buy in Nepal?

As of this writing, Skoda only offers four different models in Nepal: Rapid, Octavia, Superb, and Kodiaq. All three—Rapid, Octavia, Superb—falls under the premium sedan category, while the Kodiaq is the only SUV on offer.

Going by the popularity, Skoda Rapid and Skoda Octavia seem to be everyone’s go-to car. Nobody would dare to question that judgment either, both—Rapid and Octavia—offer design, performance, and a certain Skoda luxury at that price point. Furthermore, it is comparatively “more affordable” than the rest on this list.

If you are into Skoda sedan with at that price point, I’d say choose between the two.

However, if you are looking for luxurious SUVs, Skoda Kodiaq is just asking too much. Maybe look elsewhere like Jeep Compass, Kia Sportage, Hyundai Creta, or even Mitsubishi Eclipse. But if you really want that “Skoda” name badge, you will somewhat get a bang for your buck.
