Samsung Super Summer Offer: Discounts on Samsung 2018 Devices!

As the summer keeps turning up the temperature of the thermostat of the earth, Samsung is trying to cool you down with it’s lucrative cash back offers. About a month ago, Samsung Galaxy A30 got discounted to Rs. 27K from its original price of Rs. 28.5K. Now, Samsung has slashed the price of its 2018 phones – Samsung Galaxy A7 and Samsung Galaxy A9. They have also decreased the price of one of their tablets – Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A cost Rs. 54,490 at launch. But now, it’s price has been dropped by Rs. 12K. The new price is Rs. 42,490. If you are in the lookout for something for your kids to watch movies on, this might be a good choice (if you don’t like an iPad).

Samsung Galaxy A7

Samsung Galaxy A7 launched for the price of Rs. 43K and its price was dropped down to Rs. 34K near the end of last year but now its gone down even further. The phone is now available for Rs. 30,990. That is another 3K drop.

Samsung Galaxy A9

I forgot the launch price of the Samsung Galaxy A9. But when the price of Galaxy A7 was slashed to Rs. 34K, the price of Galaxy A9 was around 54K. It hadn’t got any major price drop like the A7 but now Samsung Galaxy A9 is available for Rs. 43,990. That is a straight 10K discount on the previous price of the Galaxy A9. A cool thing about this phone is that it has quadruple cameras.

Some thoughts

But should you buy these phones in 2019? After all, the new Galaxy A devices like the Galaxy A30, Galaxy A50, etc. are already available in the market. My answer is no. Don’t get me wrong, at this price, both of these phones are an excellent buy, especially the Galaxy A7. But these are the phones that Samsung made last year before OneUI was out. I don’t know if these phones would even support OneUI now or the latest Android Pie.

Also, the new phones like the Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 are already an excellent value so there’s no need to look for a deal in a year-old phone. If you are looking for something around 35K, I suggest you buy the Galaxy A50. If you want something below 30K, I suggest you buy the Galaxy A30.
