Realme C67 5G with Dimensity 6100+ Launched in Nepal

Realme has finally launched the Realme C67 smartphone in Nepal. It is a budget-friendly phone in its C series with a Dimensity 6100+ chipset announced in December 2023.

The Realme C series has been known to bring entry-level phones that are designed to offer good performance and long battery life at an affordable price.

The Realme C67 carries the trend with a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ 5G chipset, a 50MP camera, and a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.

Realme C67 5G Overview

Design

Realme C67 5G carries the same body as the Realme Narzo 60X, as it is a rebranding of the phone with some tweaks. It has a waterdrop notch on the front with slightly larger bezels on the top and bottom of the screen. The plastic back consists of a large circular camera island at the top left corner, holding a dual camera and a flash.

The lock button on the side also acts as a fingerprint scanner. The phone is IP54 certified, which means that the phone is resistant to light water splashes and dust. The color options on the phone are Sunny Oasis and Dark Purple.

Display

The Realme C67 sports a 6.72-inch Full HD+ display with 6 levels of dynamic refresh rate: 120Hz, 90Hz, 60Hz, 50Hz, 48Hz, and 45Hz. This is an IPS LCD screen with 1080 x 2400 resolution. The company claims that the screen has a peak brightness of 680nits and can display 16.7 million colors.

Additionally, the phone features a Apple’s dynamic island-like feature that extends the area around the front camera to form a rounded black bar that shows notifications and other pieces of information. Some examples are weather and temperature, ongoing recording, stopwatch, or timer in progress. Realme calls it Mini Capsule 2.0.

Hardware

The Realme C67 5G is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 6100+ SoC, which is an octa-core processor consisting of two Cortex-A76 with up to 2.2 GHz and six Cortex-A55 with up to 2.0GHz CPU speed. The ARM Mali-G57 GPU handles the graphics on this device.

You get 6GB RAM with 128GB storage in Nepal. The SIM tray of the phone can hold 2 SIM cards as well as a dedicated microSD card for storage expansion.

Camera

The smartphone features a 50MP main camera with a 5P lens and a 2MP depth sensor camera. There are various modes in image capturing such as night mode, street mode, portrait mode, professional mode, text scanner, and panorama mode.

The front camera is an 8MP sensor with night mode, photograph mode, portrait mode, and panorama mode.

The video recording for both front and back is 1080p video capture at a maximum of 30 frames per second. 

Battery and OS

You will get a typical 5000mAh battery on the phone, which should easily last a day’s use. It also supports 33W fast charge with Oppo’s SuperVOOC charging technology found in Realme, Oppo, and OnePlus phones. Realme states that the phone charges from 0 to 50% in just 29 minutes.

The phone also features “5G low-power smart hotspot technology,” dynamically adjusting battery consumption for improved battery efficiency when sharing your 5G network. However, as 5G is not yet available in Nepal, users may not immediately benefit from this feature.

The phone runs on Android 13 operating system out-of-the-box with Realme UI 4.0. Buyers will get a 33W power adapter inside the box.

The Realme C67 5G price in Nepal is Rs. 21,999 (6/128GB). The phone is available for purchase at retail stores across the country.

Compared with the phones in this price segment, the Realme C67 does well with its dynamic 120Hz display, Dimensity 6100+ (6nm) chipset, and 33W fast charging support.
