It’s been quite a while since the Nepali market last saw a proper Reno-series launch. Sure, we did get the Reno F lineup, but those aren’t the true Reno phones. And now, that has finally changed with the official launch of OPPO Reno15.

To put things into perspective, the last non-F Reno phone to officially launch in Nepal was the Reno12, all the way back in 2024. So it’s definitely good news to see OPPO’s most well-known smartphone series finally making a long-awaited return to the Nepali market.
What is the Price of OPPO Reno15 in Nepal?
The OPPO Reno15 price in Nepal is Rs. 89,999 (12/512GB). The pricing is on the higher end now. But to be honest, this was kind of expected, considering every phone brand is hiking up prices, and the recent Redmi Note series even saw a massive bump of up to Rs. 10,000.
Now that the phone has officially launched, it is available for purchase through authorized OPPO stores, both online and offline. No offers are running with the phone as of now.
OPPO has been inconsistent — almost absent, when it comes to premium midrange and flagship launches in Nepal. In fact, the Find N5 remains the only true flagship it has officially introduced here, which feels like a missed opportunity given how strong its higher-end lineup is globally.
That said, the Reno series has finally returned after OPPO skipped the Reno13 and Reno14. It even seemed like the F variant would be left out this time, but at the 12 February 2026 launch event, OPPO surprised everyone by unveiling the Reno15 F alongside the standard Reno15.
With the launch of the Reno15 series, hopefully, this marks a turning point, and we start seeing more compelling OPPO smartphones officially enter the Nepali market. Alright, enough talk. Let’s jump straight into the full overview:
OPPO Reno15 Overview

Design-wise, the Reno15 looks familiar, especially if you’ve seen OPPO phones in Nepal before. The square camera module is very much in line with OPPO’s current design language. That said, the in-hand feel is where the phone really stands out. The flat aluminum frame, combined with a brushed glass back, gives it a much more flagship-like feel than you’d expect from a premium mid-ranger.
Both the front and back are protected by Gorilla Glass 7i, which is a nice touch at this price.
Up front, you get a 6.59-inch AMOLED display, which, in my opinion, is the perfect size for a mid-range smartphone. The bezels are thin, maybe not ultra-thin as OPPO advertises, but they’re uniform, and that alone makes the phone look very clean from the front.
Another reason the display looks so good is the 1.5K resolution. At this screen size, it delivers a pixel density of around 460ppi, so icons and text should look sharp and crisp. Brightness, however, is a mixed bag: the rated 600 nits might sound underwhelming, but with HMB pushing it up to 1200 nits, outdoor visibility shouldn’t be an issue.
Moving on to performance, the Reno15 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, one of the most popular mid-range chipsets right now. Phones like the realme 15 Pro and Vivo V60 run the same SoC, so performance should be very familiar. For memory, the phone comes with 12GB RAM and a 512GB variant, just like with previous Reno and Reno F launches.

The camera setup is also quite solid on paper. You get a 50MP main camera, paired with a 50MP telephoto and an 8MP ultrawide. On the front, there’s a 50MP Samsung JN5 sensor, which, interestingly, is the same sensor many phones use as their primary camera. This allows for wider selfies (up to 100° FOV) with better clarity.
If the 50-50-8MP rear camera setup sounds familiar, that’s because it’s very similar to the Vivo V60, with one key difference: the Reno15 supports up to 3.5× optical zoom.
Battery-wise, the similarities continue. The Reno15 packs a 6,500mAh battery, just like the Vivo V60. However, unlike the V60, this is a Li-ion battery rather than a silicon-carbon one. Charging here is 80W SUPERVOOC, which should easily offset the large battery size.
On the software side, the Reno15 boots with the latest Android 16 and, like all OPPO phones in Nepal, it’s layered with ColorOS 16.

To sum it up, the OPPO Reno15 is a well-balanced smartphone. The solid build quality, sharp display, capable mid-range SoC, reliable camera setup, and large battery with fast charging all tick the right boxes for a modern mid-ranger.
But here’s the catch—it’s not priced like a modern mid-ranger. It’s priced much closer to an actual flagship, and that becomes a major deal breaker. Even accounting for the recent price hikes, it would have made far more sense if the phone were priced around Rs. 10,000 lower than its current tag.
And this isn’t just a random number. If you look at the specs, the Reno15 sits very close to the Vivo V60, which retailed for a little over Rs. 70,000 before the price hike. Even after adjusting for market changes, a price closer to Rs. 80,000 would have felt much more reasonable for the Reno15. But that’s not the case.

But again, we don’t know what phones like the Vivo V70 or the Samsung Galaxy A57, which, when they launch, will compete with the Reno15, will be priced at. Maybe then, this phone will turn out to be an amazing deal… who knows? Let’s wait and see how the situation develops.
