Honda Elevate SUV Launched in Nepal: Bold and Beautiful!

The highly-anticipated Honda Elevate SUV is finally available in Nepal.

Sykar Trading, the authorized distributor of Honda cars in Nepal, has launched the Honda Elevate in the Honda Showroom at Dhobighat, Lalitpur.

Honda Elevate design is a good departure from traditional Honda car styling. It has been modernized to elevate (pun-intended) Honda’s presence in the SUV segment.

It shares the core engine and the platform with the existing Honda City but in an SUV package. It is a brand-new SUV from Honda, setting itself up to rival segment giants like Hyundai Creta.

There is no Hybrid version of the Honda Elevate available for now.

It is one of the fastest automotive launches for the Nepali market. Especially since Honda India had plans to deliver the SUV to its customers in India in September-October 2023.

Interestingly enough, Honda Nepal managed to officially launch the SUV in Nepal just months after the Indian launch!

Honda Elevate Overview

Design

Honda Elevate sports a larger-than-life SUV feel.

It sports a clean-cut design with a hint of boxy undertones.

The front section gets a large Front Grille with a familiar bold chrome garnish. It gets an LED Projector Headlamp with Integrated LED DRL and Turn Indicators.

Even the fog lamps get the LED treatment.

Compared to other Honda SUVs, the Elevate poses a strong character with a muscular road presence.

The side section is kept simple. The crease lines are minimum, complete with chrome door handles and 17-inch Dual-Tone Diamond-Cut Alloy Wheels.

It continues the same muscular aesthetics at the rear section.

The rear styling comes with the same clean-cut profile, further highlighted by the LED Tail Lamp.

Coming on the inside, it gets a large and spacious cabin. It gets a premium seating arrangement along with an improved infotainment system.

Unfortunately, it misses out on Ventilated Seats.

Additionally, Honda Elevate comes in seven colors: Orange, Blue, Red, White, Silver, Brown, and Grey.

Performance

Honda Elevate is powered by a 1.5L Inline 4-Cylinder i-VTEC DOHC Petrol engine. It generates a max power of 121 PS at 6600 rpm and a max torque of 145 Nm at 4300 rpm. 

Moreover, it is mated to a 6-speed MT or 7-speed CVT transmission and 40-liter fuel tank capacity.

It is the same configuration as seen in the Honda City with its trusted Petrol Engine. 

Will we see the i-DTEC Diesel engine or newer Hybrid make its way to the Elevate?

So far, there is no confirmation. However, there are official plans to introduce an all-electric Elevate down the line.

McPherson Strut and Torsion Beam with Coil Spring handles suspension duties.

The dimensions are 4312mm in length, 1790mm in width, and 1650mm in height. Moreover, the wheelbase sits at 2650mm.

Honda Elevate gets a 220 mm ground clearance. And, the kerb weight is 1205-1258kg.

Depending on the variant, it will come with either a 215/60R16 or 215/55R17 tyre, getting a front Disc and rear Drum configuration.
