Symphony Z40 with Helio G35 and 5000mAh Battery Launched in Nepal

Along with the Z32, Symphony has launched the Symphony Z40 in Nepal.

Symphony Z40 price in Nepal is Rs. 17,999 for the 4/64GB variant. It is available for purchase across Nepal via authorized stores.

Symphony Z40 Overview

Design

Symphony Z40 uses a plastic body with a textured finish on the rear. It measures 8.9mm in thickness and weighs 193.5g.

The fingerprint sensor is rear-mounted and the rear also houses a triple camera setup. On the front, it has a hole punch on the top left.

Furthermore, it comes in three colors: Dazzling Blue, Delightful Green, and Jolly Blue.

Display

Z40 rocks a 6.55-inches HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1600×720 pixels.

It is an HD+ LCD panel with 16.M colors and 268 PPI pixel density.

Hardware

Underneath, it is powered by a MediaTek Helio G35 chipset paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.

Helio G35 has an Octa-core 2.3 GHz CPU with 8 Cortex-A53 cores. And, it has a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. Phones like Redmi 9C and Poco C3 have the same chipset.

This chipset is good enough for a budget phone but it is not the best at this price tag.

Camera

Z40 comes with a triple camera setup on the rear. It has a 13MP main sensor, a 5MP ultrawide angle sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor.

On the front, it has a 13MP sensor for selfies. There are various camera features like AI, Night Mode, Panorama, Slow-mo, Face beauty, Display Flash, Anti-shake, Self-timer, ZSD, Grid Line, and Finger capture.

Battery

Symphony Z40 has a 5000mAh battery along with 10W charging. The charge takes more than 3 hours to fully charge the phone.

Furthermore, it runs on Android 10 and it supports 4G connectivity as well.

The Z40 is a decent entry-level phone with an almost stock-like Android experience and good hardware. But, it feels expensive compared to the best phones under Rs. 20,000.

So, it will be tough for Z40 to compete against the likes of Redmi 9T and Redmi 9 Power.
