Yamaha FZ v3 introduces the familiar FZ v3 styling with minor changes.

There are two versions in the FZ lineup: FZ and FZS. Both are mechanically similar, but FZ gets a slight reduction in terms of features.

Firstly, it misses out on the Yamaha X-Connect Features. More importantly, it only features a Standard Dual-Disc Braking without any Single-Channel ABS!

Design

Yamaha FZ v3 sports a familiar muscular styling.

It features all of the hallmarks of a premium naked sport, including a large sculpted fuel tank.

The front section comes with an LED headlamp with Halogen indicators at the side.

The BS6 iteration produces 0.8PS less power but 0.5Nm more torque. Since the RPM has been reduced by a margin, the performance should feel punchier than the last BS4 iteration.

The safety feature ‘Side Stand Engine Cut Off’ cuts off the engine when the side stand is not retracted.

Telescopic Fork and a 7-Step Adjustable Monocross handle the suspension duties.

It comes with a standard Dual-Disc braking setup but unfortunately lacks Single-Channel ABS.
