vivo Y51 2020 with 8GB RAM and 48MP Triple Camera Launched in Nepal

vivo recently launched vivo Y51 in the international market. And, vivo now has officially launched the vivo Y51 in Nepal. The vivo Y51 price in Nepal is Rs. 33,499 for the 8/128GB variant.

vivo Y51 is one of the recent addition to vivo’s ever-growing Y-series that is supposed to be targeted at the young audience.

vivo Y51 looks takes some design cues from the V20 and features a Snapdragon 662 chipset. What else does it offer? Let’s check out in brief.

vivo Y51 Overview

Design

There are two vivo Y51 interestingly and the one about to be launched in Nepal is the 2020 December version. It has a triple camera module setup on the rear that looks like the one from the V20 but is slimmer and longer.

The fingerprint is side-mounted and it has a drop notch on the front.

Display

In terms of the display, vivo Y51 has a 6.58 inches IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels.

It has minimal bezels and quite a thin chin at the bottom.

Hardware

vivo Y51 is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset along with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.

Snapdragon 662 is an 11nm chipset. It has an Octa-core (4×2.0 GHz Kryo 260 Gold & 4×1.8 GHz Kryo 260 Silver) CPU and Adreno 610 GPU. This chipset is similar to Snapdragon 665. Snapdragon 662 uses the same Kryo cores as the Snapdragon 665 with the same clock speed. On top of that, both of them use the Adreno 610 GPU.

Camera

vivo Y51 has a triple-camera setup with a 48 MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP depth sensor.

On the front, it has a 16MP selfie sensor. It can capture 4k 30fps videos from the rear camera. The camera setup is very similar to that of the vivo V20 SE.

Battery

vivo Y51 has a 5000 mAH battery with 18W fast charging support. The battery will easily for a day with moderate usage. vivo claims that the 18W charger can charge the Y51 from 0 to 70% in 67 mins.

Moving on, it runs on Funtouch 11 on top of Android 11.

vivo Y51 Price in Nepal and Availability

The vivo Y51 price in Nepal is Rs. 33,499 for 8/128GB variant and it is currently for purchase from online and offline stores.

It has good looks and has a similar spec as that of the Vivo V20 SE. However, it features an underwhelming Snapdragon 662 chipset.

The triple camera setup is similar to the V20 SE’s camera and it has an FHD IPS LCD panel. Well, it does have good looks but it feels underpowered in terms of power.
