TVS Apache RR 310

Apache RR 310 combines the compact race-tuned engine delivering exceptional performance without any compromise in the design.

TVS Apache RR 310 combines the best that TVS has to offer! Also, it comes with a hefty price that requires serious thought.

TVS Apache RR 310 Highlights

  • Ducati Inspired Body

  • Dual-Channel ABS
  • Slipper Clutch
  • USD Front Forks
  • Multi-Information All-Digital Console
  • Hazard Switch

  • Track-Tuned Gearbox

TVS Apache RR 310 price in Nepal is Rs. 7,79,900. It is the most expensive bike in this list of TVS bikes price in Nepal. Yes, that’s the actual cost of the RR 310. So, is RR 310 a good bike?

We’ll answer that question. Before that, let’s take a quick look at the competition.

TVS Apache RR 310 goes against KTM RC 390 and Bajaj Dominar 400.

In terms of pricing, RR 310 falls right between RC 390 and Dominar 400. However, TVS fails to justify that price point for its flagship.

TVS RR 310 comes short in performance when compared to both KTM RC 390 and Bajaj Dominar 400. KTM and Bajaj rivals can generate more than 40PS of max power.

Well, that shouldn’t be surprising given the higher engine displacement in the rivals.

However, Bajaj Dominar 400 gives riders all that extra horsepower and extra features at a relatively affordable price! Similarly, KTM RC 390 offers the best hardware with a huge performance number in its segment.

Look. I’m not saying RR 310 is not worth buying.

Unfortunately for TVS, the competition offers much more value for your money. So, if you were looking to buy RR 310, I’d strongly recommend you gear towards KTM RC 390.

However, if you really want to buy the TVS Apache RR 310, I would strongly recommend you to wait for the BS6 variant, which offers much more value than the current iteration.

TVS Apache RTR 200 4V price in Nepal is Rs. 3,24,900 (Standard) and Rs. 3,39,900 (Single-Channel ABS).

Apache RTR 200 4V is a great bike offering good performance and excellent design. It could have been great if TVS had included a sixth gear. Unfortunately, that isn’t the case here.

Compared to other segments, the 200cc-250cc segment is crowded. You have Bajaj Pulsar 220F, Bajaj Pulsar NS 200, Hero XPulse 200T, Yamaha FZ25, KTM Duke 200 among others.

On a separate note, I still think Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 offers the best value in its segment.

Generally, TVS has to stand out from the crowd. So, does it?

TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is the most affordable bike in the 200cc segment. Sure, it has its problems like lack of sixth gear, decent performance numbers, and mild vibrations. But it makes up for that with pricing.

In this day and age, a 150cc-160cc bike can easily cost upwards of Rs. 3-Lakh mark. Taking that into account, TVS Apache RTR 200 4V stands out by being the most affordable bike in the 200cc segment.

Plus, it also offers like slipper-clutch and all-digital instrument cluster which is absent among the competition.

On a separate note, 2020 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V ABS is now available in Nepal. It features new designs and features, but it still comes with a BS4 engine.

TVS Apache RTR 200 4V ABS Feature Highlight

  • Improved LED Lights
  • Redesign Headlamp and DRLs
  • Super-Moto ABS (Single-Channel ABS) with Rear Wheel Lift Protection
  • SmartXonnect System with Bluetooth Capabilities
  • Dedicated Info/Control Switch
  • Radial Tyres

Most of the features are self-explanatory. But I do want to touch on the “SmartXonnect” system.

So, what is TVS SmartXonnect?

TVS SmartXonnect is a Bluetooth-enabled tech that allows riders to connect RTR 200 4V to their phones. After connecting their phone, riders can use RTR 200 4V digital console for navigation, race telemetry, tour mode, lean angle mode, crash alert, and call notifications.

Let’s move on to the most popular Apache offerings, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V.

TVS Apache RTR 160 4V is powered by a 159.7 cc, single-cylinder, 4-valve engine. It uses a combination of oil-cooling with air-assist cooling. Moreover, it can generate a max power of 16.62PS at 8000rpm and max torque of 14.8 Nm at 6500rpm. Furthermore, it is mated to a 5-speed engine.

Compared to the 2-valve iteration, the overall engine is more refined with lesser vibrations and fluid design language.

TVS Motors has done a phenomenal job with this one. It features a race-theme design, refined engine, excellent comfort, and best-in-segment performance!

TVS Apache RTR 160 4V goes all-out against Bajaj Pulsar NS 160, Honda Hornet 160R, and Suzuki Gixxer 155.

Among those listed, the real competition is between RTR 160 4V and NS 160. Both 160cc bikes are available at a similar price range and feature 4-valve technology.

Bajaj Pulsar NS 160 takes the lead with the inclusion of single-channel ABS at that price range. However, TVS Apache RTR comes out on top with segment-leading power output and all-rounding features.

I believe that this is the best TVS has to offer!

TVS Apache RTR 180 price in Nepal is Rs. 2,79,900.

It is an underrated TVS motorcycle.

While it has been overshadowed by RTR 160 4V, RTR 180 does offer performance unique at an affordable price.

Both RTR 180 version and RTR 160 4V version deliver similar performance, but RTR 180 wins in terms of torque figures by 1Nm. Although, it is still plagued with engine vibration at higher RPM.

In retrospect, it cost a few thousand bucks less compared to the 160 4V models.

I would recommend that you go for the latest iteration model, which features 4-valve technology.

You get more refined engine performance and better fuel economy. Honestly, you get a much better looking TVS motorcycle.

Okay, it’s a commuter segment TVS bike which means there’s visible cost-cutting. Even though the motorcycle tries to look stylish, but it feels a little barebone.

Taking reference to the price point, I don’t think there any place to complain. Especially since it is the most affordable 125cc in its segment.

While Honda Shine and Bajaj Pulsar 125 offer more, those bikes also cost more.

Similarly, compared to Yamaha Saluto and Bajaj Discover 125, TVS Stryker does excel in design.

At the end of the day, TVS Stryker 125 is a stylish commuter with a 125cc peppy engine. However, there will be vibrations at higher speeds.
