Tribhuvan University can now issue transcripts to students within a day, with the new Examinations Management Information System (MIS).
The system was launched officially on Sunday, as TU Vice-chancellor Professor Tirtharaj Khaniya provided a transcript to a B.Ed. graduate Manoj Kumar Singh.

- On the occasion, Prof. Khaniya informed that such service would be started at the regional level offices and campuses as well, adding online system would be made systematic by 2020 and more reforms would be brought in examination systems.
- Examination Controller Pushpa Raj Joshi said, with the new startup the students would collect their transcripts on the same day they fill their forms by ending the week-long practice.
The Details:
The new technology can print 45 transcripts in a minute. The TU would distribute registration cards, examination forms, mark-sheets and provisional certificates via the same system. With this system in place, the students would get one-stop service.
