The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra was unveiled globally at the Galaxy Unpacked event on 22 January 2025, and the phone arrived in the Nepali market just eight days later. Now, Samsung Nepal has also added the much-needed 1TB variant to the Galaxy S25 Ultra roster.
What is the price of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra in Nepal?
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra price in Nepal is Rs. 1,89,999 (12/256GB), Rs. 1,99,999 (12/512GB), and Rs. 2,34,999 (12GB/1TB).
Samsung did not hike the price for the 2025 flagship in Nepal following the global launch trend! This is true for the lower two trims, while this is the first time the terabyte variant has made its way to Nepal.
Customers can get the latest Galaxy S-series offering through hassle-free EMI options or trade in their older phones via SabkoPhone and ArkoStore. Moreover, they can combine both these services for further convenience.
Samsung Nepal is also offering one-time breakage insurance for a year on the phone in partnership with NLG Insurance Company.
While it may appear as if there aren’t any changes on the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, that is not the case. We have explored the topic in great detail in our review video. Do check it out:
One of the complaints we mentioned in the video was the unavailability of the 1TB variant, however, that is no longer the case!
What else does the phone have to offer? Let’s take a look at that in this article.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Overview
AI Gets Better
The Galaxy AI was critically acclaimed for being one of the best on the market. Now the South Korean tech giant is taking it a step further, making it even smarter and more capable.
Context Awareness
Galaxy AI can better understand on-device context and human language. For instance, you could now search “My eyes hurt” in the settings, and your phone will redirect you to the “Eye comfort” option under Display settings. Likewise, you can now define the photo you are looking for, and it will present you with the results instead of having to scroll through your entire gallery.
Cross-app Actions
Moreover, Samsung has collaborated with Google to allow Bixby and Gemini to coordinate with one another to carry out user requests. You could now ask Gemini to look for your favourite artist’s upcoming concert and create an event on a calendar. Your Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra can now perform tasks on third-party apps as well.
Now Brief
The on-device AI also better understands your habits, which is why it can now collate all the information it thinks might be relevant to you and present it in the “Now Brief” section. The same information can also be skimmed through the Dynamic Island-like “Now Bar” on the lock screen.
Updated Circle to Search
The popular Circle to Search feature has now been updated to recognise the audio currently playing on your phone. Similarly, it also recognises if your screen has a phone number, email address or URL and allows you to call, email, or visit the website with a single tap.
Other Features
Other than that, there are additional AI features like Call Transcript and summarisation, Writing Assist, and Drawing Assist (previously Sketch to Image).
All in all, the Galaxy AI can now serve you as an actual personal assistant with all these updated features. Furthermore, Samsung is implementing C2PA standards with the Galaxy S25 Ultra, adding an “AI-generated” watermark, and storing the origin in metadata to promote a “transparent AI world”.

Design and Build
Moving on to the phone itself, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra sees some updates compared to last year. The phone now has curved corners, which were the subject of much criticism as the sharp corners were not pleasant on the user’s palms.
The frame, on the other hand, has gone fully flat from the curved one on the Galaxy S24 Ultra. This makes the phone appear more in line with the rest of its series members, i.e. S25 and S25+. Dimension-wise, the phone has grown slightly taller, slimmer, thinner, and lighter than the previous year.
Additionally, the camera alignment remains unchanged, but the rings have returned to how they were in the S23 Ultra — even more prominent. The phone boasts an IP68 rating and still fits the S-Pen inside the body, which says goodbye to its Bluetooth functionalities.
The already solid build quality of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra sees further refinement. Firstly, the phone’s frame apparently uses even stronger titanium than the previous generation.
However, it is likely not the same Grade 5 titanium Apple has been using for iPhones, given that Samsung says its “Pure Titanium” in its promotional material. The term is used to refer to Grades 1 to 4 of the metal.
Additionally, the phone dons the Corning Gorilla Glass Armor 2 on the front and back, which is said to be 29% more durable than the first iteration of the glass.
Display
The display on the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra isn’t all that different. It is the same Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with QHD+ resolution and 1 to 120Hz refresh rate.
What is different is that the display has grown 0.1 inches in size — reaching 6.9 inches, even though the phone’s dimensions have shrunk down. This is all thanks to the reduction of already slim bezels by an additional 15%.
The reflective surface treatment we saw on the Galaxy 24 Ultra is still going strong — it apparently got even better.
While we do not see many changes in the display hardware on the Galaxy S25 Ultra, the picture quality and viewing experience will definitely improve. This is because Samsung has done some work in the software department.
Enter ProScaler. This is a feature similar to the ones we’ve seen on Samsung TVs, where the device uses AI to fill in details in a low-resolution picture, uplifting overall quality.

Hardware
Under the hood, we get the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, which brings a monumental performance increase compared to the overclocked 8 Gen 3 we saw in the S24 Ultra. We are looking at up to 37% CPU, 30% GPU, and 40% NPU performance boost.
These are massive numbers, however, it has been a bit stagnated by the fact that this processor launched in October last year, and we have already seen it being featured on other smartphones. But as a standalone product, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra brings a significant performance boost over the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
With the increase in silicon power, the vapour chamber has also seen 40% growth over the last year to keep things cool and running.
The phone arrives with 12GB RAM and 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options in Nepal. Elsewhere in the world, variants with 16GB memory and 1TB storage are also available.
Camera
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra ships with the same 200MP main camera, a 50MP (5x) periscope, 10MP (3x) telephoto, and 12MP selfie cameras. The ultrawide sensor, however, has been upped to 50MP from the previous 12MP.
Now, the phone can record 10-bit HDR and Log videos, giving you more vibrant and colour-customisable footage. You also get Zebra Pattern and False Colour to monitor the brightness of the videos you are taking.
The optical ability of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra obviously gets some software boost too. The phone can better understand the static and moving subjects in a video and apply the best-suited noise reduction.
You can also choose and swap out the “Best Face” for the subjects in the photo to rid them of imperfections like blinked eyes. Then there is a feature that lets you customise filters if you are into that.

Battery and OS
The battery capacity on the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra once again remains unchanged at 5,000mAh. It’s the same story with charging with 45W wired, 15W wireless, and 4.5W reverse wireless.
Despite unchanged hardware, Samsung claims that the battery life has increased due to all the hardware and software optimisations they have put in place. However, it might not be enough to compete with all other Chinese brands that are currently pushing the battery capacity to the uncharted territory of 6–7,000mAh.
Other than that, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is said to be “Qi2-ready”, which may sound like Samsung has finally slapped magnets onto their phone. But that is not the case. The phone can mimic only Qi2 and MagSafe abilities by using perfectly aligned phone cases.
Samsung continues with seven years of security updates and OS upgrades. The phone by default ships with the latest Android 15 and One UI 7 layered on top.
Following the international launch of the Good Lock app, users can now further customise the already highly customisable UI of Samsung!
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Price in Nepal and Availability
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra price in Nepal is Rs. 1,89,999, Rs. 1,99,999, and Rs. 2,34,999 for the 12/256GB, 12/512GB, and 12GB/1TB trims, respectively. You can purchase the phone through all authorised mediums — both online and onsite.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra | Price in Nepal | Freebies |
---|---|---|
12/256GB | Rs. 184999 | One-time breakage insurance for a year |
12/512GB | Rs. 199999 | One-time breakage insurance for a year |
12GB/1TB | Rs. 234999 | One-time breakage insurance for a year |
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is mostly similar to its predecessor with slight tweaks here and there. Most of the updates this year have been on the software end, which will likely be pushed to older phones eventually. This is why the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra does not appear to be an upgrade-worthy successor.
