What is the Price of the Redmi Note 13 4G in Nepal?
Xiaomi is currently running its Dashain and Tihar offer campaign from September 15, 2024, to November 15, 2024. As part of the offer, the Redmi Note 13 receives discounts of Rs. 1,500 on its 128GB model and Rs. 2,000 on its 256GB model.
Now, the Redmi Note 13 4G price in Nepal is Rs. 23,499 for the 6/128GB variant and Rs. 25,999 for the 8/256GB variant. The phone is available for purchase at Xiaomi-authorized stores across Nepal.
The series comprises five smartphones: the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G, Redmi Note 13 5G, and Redmi Note 13 4G. However, only three of these phones are available in Nepal, namely the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G, and the Redmi Note 13 4G.
Regrettably, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and the Redmi Note 13 5G will not be officially available in Nepal.
In this article, we will focus on the Redmi Note 13 4G. It is a successor of 2023’s best phone under Rs. 25,000. Unfortunately, the upgrades or changes on the Note 13 4G are minimal compared to its predecessor, the Redmi Note 12 4G.
The only notable changes include the addition of an in-display fingerprint sensor, a higher megapixel count for the main and selfie cameras, and stereo speakers.

Redmi Note 13 4G Overview
Design
The Redmi Note 13 has a flat frame design like before, but gone is the camera island. The three cameras and the flash now sit on the back panel separately.
Weighing 188g with a thickness of almost 8mm, the phone has an IP54 rating, making it dust- and splash-resistant. It comes in four different colors: mint green, ice blue, midnight black, and ocean sunset. All variants feature a glossy plastic back with a matte frame, while the ocean sunset version includes a gradient pattern, but sadly, it’s not available in Nepal.
The top side of the phone houses a microphone, an IR blaster, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and, this time around, a secondary speaker as well. The vanilla Note 13 4G also debuts an in-display optical fingerprint sensor, rendering the power button on the right side exclusive for its original function.
Other components, including the SIM card slot, USB-C port, primary microphone, and primary speaker, are located on the bottom side. The dual SIM card slot supports a microSD card, but it is now a hybrid slot instead of having dedicated slots for three cards.

Display
The Note 13 features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support and a Full HD+ resolution. The display has a punch-hole cutout for the front camera and has slimmer bezels than before.
Xiaomi claims the display covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and the peak brightness can reach up to 1800 nits, up from 1200 nits. It is protected by Gorilla Glass 3.
Hardware
Xiaomi went with the same Snapdragon 685 chipset for the Note 13 as well. Although the SD 685 is a decent budget processor, it is not the best-performing one in its price segment, especially when it comes to gaming.
The Snapdragon 685 features four performance Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2.8GHz and four efficiency Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.9GHz, and the Adreno 610 GPU.
In terms of memory, the phone comes with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The dual speaker setup supports Dolby Atmos.
Camera
The main camera is now upgraded on the Redmi Note 13 4G in terms of megapixel count from 50MP to 108MP. The 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera remain the same.
The front camera also jumped from 13MP to 16MP. For the videos, the phone still caps at 1080p at 30fps.
Battery and OS
The battery size and the charging speed are also unchanged with a 5000mAh battery and 33W fast charging support.
Sadly, even the operating system is the same out of the box. The phone comes with the old Android 13 with MIUI 14. Users should be able to upgrade it to the HyperOS based on Android 14.

---|---|
6/128GB | NPR 23499 |
8/256GB | NPR 25999 |
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 4G is the successor to the Redmi Note 12 4G. However, the upgrades we expected to see are not present on the Note 13. We had at least hoped to get a new, more powerful chipset, but Xiaomi has settled for the same Snapdragon 685. While it is not a bad processor in itself, it lacks the power that serious gamers look for.
Nevertheless, it still offers a great AMOLED 120Hz display, now with 1800nits peak brightness, and 33W fast charging support. The main camera has also jumped from 50MP to 108MP.
