Redmi Buds 5C with Hybrid ANC Now Available in Nepal

Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Buds 5C in Nepal. The Buds 5C is a budget TWS earbuds from Xiaomi’s sub-brand. It was introduced in India in July 2024.

The Redmi Buds 5C is a less expensive model than the Redmi Buds 5. The Buds 5C has a hybrid ANC, IP54, and Google Fast Pair. In this article, we will discuss the specifications and features of the Redmi Buds 5C.

Redmi Buds 5C Overview

Design

The Redmi Buds 5C comes in a pebble-shaped case. The bottom of the case has a USB-C port and a pairing button. On the front is an LED light indicator.

The earbuds are placed inside the case magnetically. They are in-ear earbuds with a silicone ear tip and a stem. Each earbud weighs 4.2g, while the whole case has a 38.5g weight.

For protection against dust and water splashes, the earbuds are IP54-certified. The earbuds feature touch controls that allow users to control music playback and more.

Features

The Buds 5C features a 12.4mm dynamic audio driver featuring titanium diaphragms. The earbuds offer five sound profiles: standard, enhance treble, enhance voice, enhance bass, and custom.

The earbuds also support hybrid active noise cancellation (ANC). Hybrid ANC is a better type of ANC than the standard ANC. Hybrid ANC uses both external and internal microphones to cancel out noise. Xiaomi says it can block up to 40dB of background noise.

The device also features a transparency mode to be able to hear the surroundings.

Furthermore, it has quad-mic AI environmental noise cancellation to capture voice clearly during calls. Xiaomi says Redmi Buds 5C features a unique dual-channel AI algorithm that withstands wind noise up to 6m/s. The two mics on each earbud work together to filter outdoor activities.

The Redmi Buds 5C supports Google Fast Pair for a one-tap connection on your smartphone as soon as you open the flap of the case. Moreover, you can also now connect two pairs of Redmi Buds 5C on selected Xiaomi phones to listen to music or watch content together.

Xiaomi says the earbuds have a low latency of 60 ms for gaming. Unlike, the Redmi Buds 5, the Buds 5C does not offer an in-ear detection feature and dual connection.

Battery and Connectivity

Each earbud has a 45mAh battery, while the charging case has a 480mAh. Xiaomi claims the earbuds can last up to 4.5 hours with ANC on and 7 hours with ANC off. Combined with the case, the battery extends to 22 hours and 36 hours, respectively.

It takes around an hour to charge the earbuds, whereas the case takes around two hours. Xiaomi shares a 10-minute charge will provide up to two hours of playback time.

The Redmi Buds 5C supports Bluetooth 5.3. Both Android and iOS users have the option to download the Xiaomi Earbuds app from their respective app stores, which allows them to customize noise cancellation settings and touch controls for the Redmi Buds 5C.

The Redmi Buds 5C price in Nepal is Rs. 3,199. The earbuds are available for purchase at retail stores across Nepal.

The Redmi Buds 5C is an entry-level wireless earbuds that offers hybrid ANC for up to 40dB noise cancellation. It features 12.4mm titanium drivers, five sound profiles, and up to 36 hours of playback on a single charge.
