Realme C55 Overview

Design

The Realme C55 has a plastic build with a flat frame and dual cameras on the rear. The Sunshower variant gets a gradient finish that gives a dreamy effect under sunlight.

On the front, it has a hole punch and they have implemented Apple’s Dynamic Island calling it Android’s first Mini Capsule. The C55 is also very thin as it measures just 7.89mm in thickness.

Likewise, the volume and power buttons are located on the right side of the device. Along with the microphone and a speaker, the bottom has a USB-C port and a speaker.

The SIM card tray is placed on the left side of the phone, which supports two SIM cards and a microSD card.

Display

The phone features a large 6.72-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display. It supports a 90Hz refresh rate, 680 nits brightness, and 16.7M colors.

Hardware

The C55 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G88 chipset. Announced in 2021, Helio G88 is a decent budget processor built on a 12nm process technology.

It has two Cortex-A75 CPUs clocked at up to 2.0GHz and six Cortex-A55 CPUs at up to 1.8GHz and a Mali-G52 GPU.

It was available in two memory variants in Nepal: 6GB RAM with 64GB storage, and 8GB RAM with 128GB storage. The latter is no longer available in Nepal. Users can also expand the storage up to 1TB with a microSD card.
