Realme 9 Pro Overview

Design

Realme 9 Pro has the same design as the Realme 9 Pro+ with the same camera island. The plastic back has a glossy finish and the side frame is plastic too.

It comes in three colors: Aurora Green, Midnight Black, and Sunrise Blue. Among these, the Blue variant uses Light Shift Design that causes the rear panel to change its color from blue to red when hit by sunlight.

The 9 Pro is thin at just 8.5mm and it weighs only 195 g. The fingerprint sensor is embedded in the power button and it has a hybrid SIM tray slot.

Display

Up front, the 9 Pro rocks a 6.6-inch FHD LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, it also offers a low-latency touch sampling rate of 240Hz.

The display can switch between various refresh rates with a minimum refresh rate of 30Hz.

Realme 9 Pro gets the latest mid-range 5G chipset from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 695 5G.

It is a 6nm chipset with Octa-core (2×2.2 GHz Kryo 660 Gold & 6×1.7 GHz Kryo 660 Silver) CPU and Adreno 619 GPU. The same chipset can be found on the likes of the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G and OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G.

For memory, it comes with 6/8GB RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage.

Camera

Realme 9 Pro comes with a triple camera setup on the rear with a 64MP main sensor, 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor.

On the front, it has a 16MP sensor for selfies. Likewise, it can capture up to 1080p 60fps videos from both front and rear cameras.

Battery and OS

Realme 9 Pro packs a 5000mAh battery along with a 33W Dart charger. It takes around 1 hour and 15 mins to fully charge the battery.

Furthermore, it runs on Realme UI 3.0 on top of Android 12. Also, its 3.5mm headphone jack is Hi-Res certified.
