Realme has announced the Realme 12 Pro series and it is set to arrive in Nepal as well. The series includes the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro Plus.

What is the Price of the Realme 12 Pro+ in Nepal?

The Realme 12 Pro Plus price in Nepal is expected to be around Rs. 50,000 (8/128GB), Rs. 53,000 (8/256GB), and Rs. 57,000 (12/256GB). After launch, it will be available for purchase at retail stores across Nepal.

The Realme 12 Pro Plus is the more expensive of the series with Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. For the first time in the Realme Number series, the Realme 12 Pro series comes with a telephoto lens.

The Pro Plus has a 64MP periscope telephoto with 3x zoom, whereas the Pro has a 32MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. Additionally, the 12 Pro Plus features a 32MP selfie camera as opposed to the 12 Pro’s 16MP.

Realme 12 Pro Plus Overview

Design

The Realme 12 Pro Plus has a vegan leather back that is dust and wear-resistant, featuring a large camera circle in the upper middle. Realme collaborated with the international luxury watch designer Ollivier Savéo for its design.

Inspired by luxury watch designs, the camera circle includes a golden ring with 300 triangular grooves, known as the fluted bezel seen on wristwatches. Furthermore, the camera island boasts 500 gradient sunburst patterns, creating the sunburst effect seen on watch dials.

Additionally, it features a diamond-patterned strap in the middle that runs across the back of the phone, similar to the previous Realme 11 Pro series but with a different pattern. The phone is also rated for IP65.

Display

The Realme 12 Pro+ has a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support. It’s a curved display with up to 950 nits of local peak brightness.

Furthermore, it has 2160Hz PWM dimming technology to minimize eye fatigue in low brightness. The phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Hardware

Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. It is built using 4nm process technology and has four Cortex-A78 clocked at up to 2.40GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores ticking at up to 1.95GHz with Adreno 710 GPU.

In terms of memory, it comes with 8/12GB RAM and 128/256GB storage.

Camera

For the first time in Realme’s number series, the Realme 12 Pro Plus has a periscope lens with 3x optical zoom. The 64MP periscope camera with OIS is accompanied by a 50MP Sony IMX890 camera sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide camera.

The front has a 32MP selfie camera that can shoot up to 1080p video at 30fps. The rear can shoot up to 4K at 30fps.

Battery and OS

The phone has a 5000mAh battery and supports 67W fast charging. Realme claims the supported charger can charge up to 50% in just 19 minutes.

In terms of software, it runs on Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0.

The Realme 12 Pro Plus launched in India at INR 29,999 (8/128GB), INR 31,999 (8/256GB), and INR 33,999 (12/256GB).

Based on these prices, we expect the Realme 12 Pro Plus price in Nepal to be around NPR 50,000 (8/128GB), NPR 53,000 (8/256GB), and NPR 57,000 (12/256GB).

The Realme 12 Pro series may arrive in Nepal in March 2024. After launch, it will be available for purchase at retail stores across Nepal.
