Jagdamba Motors, the authorized distributor of Proton cars in Nepal, has announced the Proton Xchange for Excellence event. The three-day program will run from 21 to 23 November 2025 at Attic, Gyaneshwor.

The highlight of the event is a major price drop on Proton’s flagship electric SUV, the eMas 7. Its starting price has been reduced from Rs. 56.99 lakhs to Rs. 46.99 lakhs. This flat Rs. 10 lakh off makes the eMas 7 one of the most aggressively priced premium EVs in the segment. However, this price is exclusive to this event only and will not be available afterwards.
Visitors will also get access to exclusive event benefits, including special offers, gift hampers, the best exchange valuation, and 60-minute loan processing.
The event is open to all, and test rides of the Proton eMas 7 will be available throughout the program for interested buyers.

Proton eMas 7
Proton eMas 7 is Proton’s first electric vehicle for the Nepali market, and it has quickly gained attention for its advanced AEGIS Short Blade Battery. As the name suggests, this battery is significantly shorter, measuring about 40 percent less in length compared to the conventional long Blade Batteries used by other brands. Its compact architecture reduces internal resistance and allows for a tighter cell structure. The result is an impressive energy density of 192 Wh/kg, which surpasses the first-generation BYD Blade Battery.
Adding to its credibility, the eMas 7 secured a 5-star safety rating in the ASEAN NCAP crash test, reinforcing Proton’s commitment to safety in its new EV lineup.
The Proton eMas 7 price in Nepal starts at Rs. 56.99 lakhs and goes up to Rs. 67.99 lakhs. It is available in two variants. The Premium variant commands a higher price, while the Prime variant serves as the more accessible option. Both models use the same 160 kW motor, but the difference lies in their battery capacities and driving range. The Prime variant comes with a 49.52 kWh Short Blade Battery that delivers a WLTP range of 345 km. The Premium variant steps up to a 60.22 kWh unit, extending the WLTP range to 410 km.

Proton Nepal backs the eMas 7 with a 6-year or 150,000 km vehicle warranty. The battery and high-voltage components receive an extended 8-year or 160,000 km warranty.
The Proton eMas 7 has already turned heads with its performance, safety credentials, and futuristic design. With the new pricing and financing offers, Proton is clearly aiming to strengthen its presence in Nepal’s growing EV market.
