Proton eMas 7
Proton eMas 7 is Proton’s first electric vehicle for the Nepali market.
It has received widespread appreciation for its AEGIS Short Blade Battery. As the name suggests, the battery is significantly shorter in length, measuring 40% less than the long Blade Batteries currently in use. This compact design results in a shorter cell module and reduces overall internal resistance—a limitation of the long Blade Batteries. The battery’s standout feature is its impressive energy density, reaching 192 Wh/kg, surpassing the energy density of BYD’s first gen Blade Batteries.
Further boosting its credentials, the e.Mas 7 has earned an impressive 5-star rating in the ASEAN NCAP safety tests.
Proton eMas 7 price in Nepal starts at Rs. 56.99 Lakhs to Rs. 67.99 Lakhs. It is available across two variants, the top-spec mode i.e. “Premium” is available for a higher price tag while the base model i.e. “Prime” being the introductory model is a bit more affordable.
Both variants share the same 160kW Motor, but there is a difference in battery capacity and range. The Prime variant features a 49.52 kWh Short Blade Battery Pack, providing a WLTP range of 345 km. In contrast, the Premium variant is equipped with a larger 60.22 kWh Short Blade Battery Pack, achieving a WLTP range of 410 km.
Proton Nepal provides a standard manufacturer warranty of 6 years or 150,000 km for the car. Additionally, the battery and other EV components come with a separate 8-year warranty or 160,000 km.
The Proton e.MAS 7 has already captured attention with its impressive performance, strong safety features, and futuristic design. With the introduction of the new financing offer, Proton aims to accelerate interest and drive sales even further.
