OPPO’s launches in Nepal have often struggled to hit the sweet spot in the budget to mid-range segment. And now, the brand is gearing up for the official debut of the OPPO A6 Pro.

On paper, the phone certainly looks promising, at least at first glance. But specs alone don’t tell the full story. So, let’s dig in and see whether the A6 Pro can actually stand out in the crowded sea of slab smartphones out there.
What is the price of the OPPO A6 Pro in Nepal?
The OPPO A6 Pro price in Nepal could start from Rs. 37,999 for the 8/128GB variant and goes up to Rs. 38,999 for the 8/256GB variant. The phone hasn’t officially launched yet, but it is now available for pre-booking. The pre-booking window runs from November 14 to 17 through authorized OPPO retail stores.
During this period, customers who pre-book will also stand a chance to receive OPPO Enco Buds 3 Pro (worth Rs. 3,499) as a special gift. This limited-time offer is reserved for the first 400 lucky customers.
The OPPO A6 Pro is a direct successor to the A5 Pro, which launched just a couple of months ago. Compared to its predecessor, there are definitely some noteworthy upgrades, but it’s hard to be too impressed, especially considering the A5 Pro itself didn’t offer great value for money.
So now, let’s see if the successor, the A6 Pro, is actually any better.
OPPO A6 Pro Overview
The OPPO A6 Pro doesn’t really turn heads in the design department. It’s your typical plastic build with flat frames and a flat back. But what does help its case is the impressively slim 1.67mm bezels, which give the phone a sleeker, more premium vibe than you’d expect.
OPPO has a habit of going all-in on durability, and the A6 Pro continues that pattern with an IP69 rating and military-grade shock resistance, something you rarely see in this segment.

As for the display, there’s nothing particularly headline-worthy here. It’s a 6.57-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It’s perfectly serviceable, but when you have rivals like the Infinix Hot 60 Pro offering better display specs at half the price, OPPO’s panel feels a bit behind the curve.

The battery situation, however, is where OPPO redeems itself. You’re getting a massive 7,000mAh cell paired with 80W SUPERVOOC charging. With most brands only now shifting to 6,000 or 6,500mAh packs from the usual 5,000, OPPO clearly has a solid edge in the battery department.

The camera is nothing special as well, with a 50MP main camera and a 2MP monochrome. And to the front, you will be looking at a 16MP selfie camera.
Under the hood, though, is where things start slipping. The OPPO A6 Pro is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G100, and for a phone that could land north of Rs. 30,000, that’s a tough pill to swallow. At similar pricing, options like the CMF Phone 2 Pro deliver far better performance and overall value, making the A6 Pro feel like OPPO is stretching things a bit too far.
The phone comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage by default, with a 256GB variant also available. The phone runs on Android 15 with ColorOS 15 layered on top.

Compared to its predecessor, the OPPO A6 Pro has definitely made some solid improvements. The display is better, the battery is bigger, and you even get SUPERVOOC fast charging, all wins in my book.
But unfortunately, the pricing holds it back. At this price, alternatives like the CMF Phone 2 Pro or the Infinix Note 50S offer far better value with superior displays, processors, and cameras. And that ultimately makes the OPPO A6 Pro an easy skip.
